Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 01/10/2026Another of the Pokemon watercolour backlog. This time the Foxes from Gen 1. #pokemonfanart #vulpix #ninetales 140
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 27/09/2026We have some more pokemon watercolours in my backlog. My scanner really doesn't pick up purples very well. I should probably invest in a better one next year. #pokemonfanart #arbok #ekans 021
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 27/09/2026Rare time for me to show one of my practice sketch sessions. I've really not been keeping up with my practice of humans. Also me and wifey have been bingeing the anime again. #dressupdarlingfanart 020
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 13/09/2026And also @alphineagnitio.bsky.social, Atmos, @derpaderp.bsky.social, George & @icyeclipse.bsky.social 010
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Emote club time! And all my lovely club is feeling extra tired this month. Although some have said they also look drunk. Featuring @kaylare.bsky.social @iklickklacki.bsky.social @ravynthecat.bsky.social Sin & Nelly 172
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 07/09/2026So I'm trying something. I've tried to incorporate what I've learnt from watercolour the past year into my digital work. This piece is entirely digital, but I've finally managed to capture that look of traditional watercolours. #chocobofanart 131
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 01/09/2026Another watercolour to rest my brain from animation work. Rabbid Peach was definitely my one of my favourite additions to the series. I'm sad with the way things have gone we likely won't get another game though. 020
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 30/08/2026The need for watercolours came upon me again. So here's Mao Mao from Apothecary Diaries. This is such a perfect background anime while I'm drawing. 020
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 19/08/2026Wifey was lamenting after seeing a cross stitch design circulating that turned out to be AI slop, so she had no way of actually making the artwork. I offered to recreate it as a watercolour instead, it gave me a chance to play around with flowers, adjusting the designs and giving it my own flair. 062
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 18/08/2026Also silly little detail. The text around the archway? It's just Fluffy Dragon typed into the Symbol font over and over. 010
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 18/08/2026A friend commissioned this set for @tizahdergie.bsky.social I've genuinely missed doing a nice focused head shot artwork like this, so this has been a wonderful palate cleanser from my recent animation work. 262
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 15/08/2026On my long weekend holiday I did quite a few crafts, I made Kumihimo, I studied and practised calligraphy brushwork. I even hosted my own panel on Watercolours, doing a presentation on Ken Sugimori. But on the last day I got to do basic Ukiyo-E, or woodblock printing. 030
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 15/08/2026A lil animation I've completed for @kaylare.bsky.social of what has been dubbed the lizard lick. I made several variations, and Kay insisted that this one contained the appropriate level of silly. 031
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 12/08/2026Thanks to @mutedbunny.bsky.social who found the comic source. x.com/dazhong02312...x.com大宗 (@dazhong02312) on X又是嗑愛爽的一天 我才不會說我是因為想名正言順的畫第二張才畫第一張的 #MyGO #长崎素世 #千早愛音 110
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 12/08/2026I've done my usual hunting to try and find who made this comic, but it has eluded me because "everyone" is using this comic to react to cultured content. If anybody knows who they are, please let me credit them. 100
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 12/08/2026Wifey loved using a lil comic to react whenever she found some good reference materials for me to use in my work. So I made a version of her OC expressing her "feelings" in this animation. Please see comment below to help me find the original artist so I can credit them. 121
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 05/08/2026Has anyone mentioned that there is a Clip Studio sale on humble that will be running out in the next 3 hours? 110
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 05/08/2026A lil gift for my wifey as I drew her OC Lady Snugglepants as Boosette. 020
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 05/08/2026And these featuring @alphineagnitio.bsky.social, Atmos, @derpaderp.bsky.social, @ravynthecat.bsky.social & Sylvie. 010
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 05/08/2026Last months emote club was a sniff emote. Here featuring George, @kaylare.bsky.social, Klick & Lily 330
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 08/07/2026The last of my holiday time watercolours, this time the Dragonite family. #pokemonart #dratini #dragonair #Dragonite 042
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 07/07/2026Still slowly uploading the pokemon watercolours from last month. Still think there's more I could do with these two, but they also do have one of the more limited designs out there. #pokemonart #voltorb #electrode 040
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 03/07/2026Wonky gastly my beloved, you might not be round, but you still make me chuckle. 000
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 03/07/2026Pokemon Watercolour series. The OG Ghost Gang. This one is a bit more apparent that I was drawing it on a bouncy bus at the time. Plus we are starting to see the limitations of the watercolour pencil set. I will probably do a full piece later in the year. #pokemonart #gastly #haunter #gengar 231
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 02/07/2026@icyeclipse.bsky.social is currently doing their birthday subathon! Please drop in and join them this week for the growing chaos. www.twitch.tv/icyeclipse Also lil picture I painted for them to start off the subathon. 072
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 01/07/2026Another set for the Pokemon watercolours. I have the most vivid memory of sitting in the airport, painting these colours in while waiting for the plane to Iceland last month. Darker colours appear to suffer on this paper. #pokemonart #horsea #seadra #shellder #cloyster 021
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 28/06/2026Another of the Pokemon watercolours series. This one was painted while on the cruise, I believe the majority was drawn while I was listening to a presentation on the Icelandic Cod Wars. Wifey requested this design, and I based it on the classic Totoro sleeping scene #pokemonart #snorlax #munchlax 031
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 28/06/2026So I made these a month ago for when me and wifey went on a Cruise ship from Iceland. I placed them on magnet sheets so we could hang them on our door. It made our room easy to find in those long corridors. Although wifey found a kid trying to steal one from the door at one point. 010
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 22/06/2026I promised myself the Pokemon watercolour series wouldn't get complicated, that I would keep it simple. Then I saw the Mew vs. Mewtwo statue and had to use it as reference for this piece instead. Those that know: Brother, my brother, tell me what are we fighting for? #pokemonart #mew #mewtwo 021
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 22/06/2026So when I reach the last page of a sketchbook I invite friends to recommend a drawing, and Lilac is a big fan of Princess Daisy. And considering she is also one of my personal favourites (yeah I 100% Mario Wonder as Princess Daisy) I had to draw her with a pet Chain Chomp #PrincessDaisy #fanart 1103
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 25/05/2026I added a moogle to this page. In this watercolour set the red half pan was low quality and wouldn't blend well into a purple. So I lifted the purples and pinks from a purple pencil in the set. I like how limiting myself in materials leads to imaginative solutions. #finalfantasy #moogle #chocobo 074
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 23/05/2026I'm doing a panel later in the summer where I want to show people how accessible and cheap watercolour is to begin creating art. To emphasise my point at the panel I painted this Chocobo watercolour with just a £2 set of watercolours. #finalfantasy #chocobo 152
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 22/05/2026@alphineagnitio.bsky.social getting.... booped by themself? Don't worry about it, I amused myself doing this. 010
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 22/05/2026Time for me to finally show the next big animation project that's been keeping me busy this month. As for April my emote club voted on a boop emote. And I couldn't help myself and animated it. Featuring @icyeclipse.bsky.social 841
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 21/05/2026Testing out these more dynamic shadows for Onix based off the art reference I used for this painting. I'm also seeing the spots where I could add more varied line weight to improve the piece. So I think all this practice is paying off. #pokemonart #onix #diglett 041
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 19/05/2026Pushing the limits of what this cheap sketchbook can handle with a full page watercolour of Lapras. It's been a couple years since I attempted landscape in watercolour, my last attempts weren't good, but I quite liked this one, and the subtle sky I think worked well in pencil. #pokemonart #lapras 031
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 18/05/2026Today's watercolour is the Gen 1 insect bros, Scyther & Pinsir. #pokemonart 021
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 17/05/2026Sunday mornings addition to my pokemon watercolours. I had a lot of fun testing out the different poses artist have put sandshrew in. #pokemonart 091
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 16/05/2026Today's offering for the Pokemon watercolours is the OG Moon crew, featuring Jigglypuff to Wigglytuff, and Clefairy to Clefable. #pokemonart 061
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 08/05/2026The Beedrill crew turns up in my next Pokemon Watercolour. #pokemonart 061
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 29/04/2026And another for my pokemon watercolours. The Gigantamax Butterfree was quite fun. Creating those colour gradients on the wings pushed me out of comfort zones and I'm pleased with the result. #pokemonart 061
Cutea Arts @cuteaarts.bsky.social · 29/04/2026Next up in my Pokemon Watercolours is Seel and Dewgong. #pokemonart 051
