Peter Curufea @curufea.bsky.social · 08/10/2026Star trek has always been space fantasy. Magic spells to save the day are cast with technobabble and known scientific terms used just to remind the audience that it's vaguely scifi but rarely used in a correct manner 000
Peter Curufea @curufea.bsky.social · 08/10/2026I hope this is mentioned on the Know Rogan podcast :) 000

Peter Curufea @curufea.bsky.social · 02/10/2026I gave up on the American version of High Potential that I was kinda enjoying because of the obvious product placement of an AI software. Now I can't get through the introduction for the new Netflix reality gameshow based on Willy Wonka because they've recreated Gene Wilder's voice. 100

Peter Curufea @curufea.bsky.social · 02/10/2026I quite enjoyed Normal. It is unintentionally the American version of Hot Fuzz and if you embrace the American of it, it's enjoyable. Different in almost every way, but with some key tropes. 100

Peter Curufea @curufea.bsky.social · 24/09/2026My ritual is, freeze the cheese sandwich. It's bade with frozen bread anyway (it keeps longer and this is almost the only thing we use bread for - plus it's easier to butter). Good for maybe 3 days of refreezing then it's too stale and gets replaced. I toast the slightly stale sandwich and eat it. 010
Peter Curufea @curufea.bsky.social · 24/09/2026I have a ritual for eating my son's lunches. Because of the ritalin he's not hungry at school, but he was once. And somedays we also forget to give it too him. Plus it's not a good look if he opens his bag during breaks and there's nothing there. 110
Peter Curufea @curufea.bsky.social · 24/09/2026I expect this game will also be a stepping stone to the next one as well though :) or some game in the future if you swerve to a different thing for a while :) 000
Peter Curufea @curufea.bsky.social · 21/09/2026Thief: The Dark Project. Not just because I had never seen a first person stealth game before, but also because it grabbed me with it's world building, stylish cutscenes and soundtrack. 010

Peter Curufea @curufea.bsky.social · 19/09/2026I'll be seeing it. Not just for the director. I'm more forgiving of the books these days as the author was keen to point out it wasn't just Christian mythology it was an allegory for, but others as well. 110
Peter Curufea @curufea.bsky.social · 18/09/2026The premise never appealed to me. However finding out the kind of person the actor is (ie someone I like) has made me consider possibly giving it a try someday. 010
