I am going to #PimaSupes tonight, but I stopped by a small protest in front of #Tucson City Hall. The (Tucson chapter) of the Democratic Socialists of America is protesting #TEP’s #Proposition421, a 25 year franchise agreement with the City of Tucson.

Protests in downtown #Tucson continue to grow, presumably as more and more people leave work. Locals are blocking some sections of Broadway downtown with an increased number of police on hand for traffic control. Everything is still peaceful.

I am slipping into Rep. Juan Ciscomani's tele-town hall. To be honest, I am glad he is talking to public but these town halls are deeply exclusionary and while the speaker is giving him hell for possibly cutting Medicaid - he has control of speaks and how he chooses to answer a question.

𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗗 Today’s #50501 protest today in Reid Park here in #Tucson has already exceeded the ability to park in any of the lots on west side of the midtown park. Many are parking in the adjacent neighborhoods to attend today’s protest.
