We conducted a latent class analysis of 1032 surveys from GBMSM in Australia, and found that social support, social engagement with LGBTQ+ people, and LGBTQ+ community involvement was associated with HIV testing and PrEP uptake. Available to read open access: link.springer.com/article/10.1...

New open access article from our team. Event-driven / on-demand (AKA 2-1-1) PrEP use has tripled between 2019-2023 in Australia, with 28% of gay/bi men and other men who have sex with men now using event-driven PrEP in 2023. Read here: onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/...

Trends in drug use among Australian GBM from 2012-2021. We found an increasing trend in any drug use in the last six months. Frequent party drug use was associated with condomless anal intercourse without PrEP or viral suppression. The full article is available here: doi.org/10.1111/dar....

Only 7.5% of GBM not on PrEP in our sample in 2021 had 3+ STI tests in the last year, falling short of testing guidelines recommendations. Even in PrEP users, frequent STI testing decreased from 71.7% in 2017 to 58.6% in 2021. Full paper here: journals.lww.com/stdjournal/a...
