I read two books yesterday. THE CENTRE by Ayesha Manazir Siddiqi delighted me with its prose, theme, and plot. I fell in like with the protagonist and her best friend. So many fine words, it was a meal. FAV SENTENCE: All patriotism, in the end, is patriarchal and deadly. @ayesha24.bsky.social
