gotta wrap up inktober 2025 before i can do 2026, so first up is the word "veritable." and rosa is speaking hard facts on this one @suprdee2.com #inktober #rosebudscomic

a 2-panel illustration themed after suprdee's rosebuds comic.

panel 1: rosa looks on and blushes, saying "She's an adorable little cinnamon bun..."
panel 2: maricela is holding señor bun... only maricela is an actual cinnamon bun with limbs and her bunny hat.

veritable: (adjective) (formal) being in fact the thing named and not false, unreal, or imaginary.

honest to god thought this drawing ub iwerks did was "vent art" abt working in the studio and not a fantasy scene where walt is the one being bossed around (and b4 u ask, i found out abt this drawing in the "merrie history" webseries)

speaking on latest tlt; there was a webtoons comment that wondered where trashdad was if he was in that thought bubble, ricky and spencer probably would've been crushed

tidy deep into her movie star dream, now about getting the approval and support of her trashdad (represented as official art by s0s2 depicting trashdad and tidy being together). the thought bubble covers most of the screen, sans tidy.
a speech bubble from offscreen from elly reads "Uh... Trashmaid? Y-Your friends are--"

tidy's thoughts are cleared and she is shocked to see ricky and spencer partially planted into the sandy ground--hands and arms respectively barely poking out--from how heavy trashdad was in her thoughts (going off of the official episode where ricky and spencer are getting crushed by tidy's dreams of stardom). ricky (left) was about to black out and spencer (right) was... just... done.

oh god i had a horrible after shower thought. it's obviously a thought but still

so the latest tlt introduced the mayor of the city.

this mayor shut down the idea of a modern mermaid going by the strip.
and the overall comic seems to be doing a slightly meta storyline about making the trashmaid's tale known because of the animated pilot campaign. but what if the campaign suddenly turns around and all of a sudden the trashmaid series' FUTURE is at risk because of some shutdown campaign run by the mayor in-universe?

and since this project is only ~$90,000 / $150,000 with a little less than a month, and not many people know that a crowdfunding campaign doesn't get worked on during the funding process (apparently, according to a reddit post the silly studios people made)... what if the campaign flops? and what if that means the mayor wins? what happens then? will everybody be taken away? will tidy wind up in an aquarium?

i'm getting too attached to this comic, i need to take a break from it.
