I truly love house sparrows, always like seeing little packs of em chilling by a puddle or piece of garbage, just hopping around and being cute.

She would hate it but god... Imagine...

Crocheted pink bonnet with holes cut out for cat ears. The bonnet is on an adorable calico cat who is being held. The bonnet has a big ruffled white trim around the face part and 2 little yarn strings coming down in the front, its great.
I would credit the creator but pintrest doesnt allow me to see that sort of thing without an account, heres a link I guess,

Screenshot from a northerlion UFO 50 video, the Pilot is standing next to a startlingly realistic spider enemy (compared to everything else) webs are all over the room etc, upin being defeated the spider says "I'm sorry that I attacked you... Labled bc slight Mina the Hollower spoilers

Didnt expect there to be a haunting part in Mina the Hollower where someone robs you and in revenge you mangle and rob them of their form, genuinely kind of shaking.
Its not uncommon fkr games tk be anti-upoer class but Mina js kind of strangely visceral about jt, like dude the "slums" suck as bad and are scary, half because people are trying to take advantage of you and half because the state enacts violence at randkm and wothout mefcy to anyone they percieve as lesser

Spoiled bc im talking about smut and not being coy about the fact that its smut

Read some Mortecai and Rigby smut, i adore when smut has soul and love for the world. they should make a gay furry ceo of porn, i dont really prefer either to purely hetero stuff but man, queer creators are creating with humanity at their back, the love inherent to humanity in every brushstroke of Mortecai getting pounded, the beauty of the humanoid form, the wonder of genuine, pleasant conversation, of casual flirting, knowing your own worth, helping your common man, and communicating boundaries and wants... I feel like queer creators are also great at showing that like dude, sex is fun and funny, and if it is deadly serious then its for a reason, and thats also valuable. I feel like so many hetero smut creators drift through life, creating within a medium because thats the medium, catering only to the pitiful frail audiance to get their perfect little story, everything stripped away but the raw machinery at the core of it, pumping and thrusting to no end, with no reason with no pleasure.
I mean like respect to basically all adult creators but still, shouts out to the queer furries etc.

Small stubby (a simple rusted-tin-can-like robot that looks more like its for playing with than fighting) from nier automata, it is holding a glowing white flower and standing on a slab of concrete with an exposed pipe.
Its an artstation render of it by Dmitry Supruniuk

Miku from the fan music video of "Lonely Club" by MushiP, animated by Sawn.
It is a scrungly Hatsune Miku flanked by 2 simple figures bearing similar facial features.
Their eyes are like mishapen limes and the mouth alnodt looks aghast, if it werent for the blank expression on thekr rets of their faces.
Miku herself seems to lack arms, a ragged and spiky cloak makes her body into a thin triangle pointing upward.

Kai Shimada from March Comes in Like a Lion, its a screencap from the show that is stomach-up, he is wearing a suit and looks dour but not more-so than his neutral expression usually shows. the background is very formal but is just the match room of the shogi association.

Was pretty lukewarm on the Manga "Alien Headbutt" after the first chapter but man when they brought in the sling I was down, and when the titular "Alien Headbutt" was revealed to be the protag using alien skulls to punch harder I popped off hard lol. Hopefully the series keeps up the cool shit

Screenshot from shonen jump, 4 panels, the first reads "It's a hunter..." with a cool lookin guy swinging a sling, like david and goliath style, the 2nd panel says "... And pro-wrestler" "... double team!!!" with an absolutely yolked guy grabbing a bird like alien. The other 2 panels show the follow up, a stone flung towards a tower, and an alien smashed into the ground. It looks awesome

Had a shitty day at work and wrote this TW: stuff about dead cats and roadside memorials

Poem: Wind monument

It's been a few years since my state defunded whatever agency cleans up roadkill.
Everyday for months I've passed by a cat mummy, it's fur fell or was blown off, carrion eaters scared off by the ever-present traffic, it's hide tanned by the sun and wind. I suppose it's insides liquified at some point; now all that remains is a static grooved thing in the middle of the 4 lane interstate.
It's wrapped in our cars air-drafts, the soot and residue of our engines. I wonder if inside of it lives curses and hatred for us, or from us.
I saw once, two teens expanding it's 1 x 1 foot holy land, one standing body in front of it, one standing body behind, I heard they got arrested for it. We hope that it only exists where the wind hugs and carves it, where flies do not go, where ravens do not go, when humans do not go. I see, however, bumper stickers of cartoon cat mummies, and tattoos of road maps covered in x's. Ranked number 1 in terms of roadside memorials, it's mahogany flesh much more brutalist and modern than something as passé as flowers and pictures and resentments held-in-heart.

Wait what the fuck Haumea is in OUR solar system???? That's my fuckin gal, I love this little oblong beyblade of a dwarf planet!!!

A render of Haumea, a dwarf planet that kinda looks like tortilla dough that's about to be pressed. It spins very fast (a rotation every 4 hours) and has a ring that may have formed from a collision that started it's weird rotation in the first place. The image adds some maroon stuff to the surface but I think that's just something to draw the eye and probably isn't accurate but who knows.

I didn't realize the potential of a cool see-through phone case like this... I HAD to see if any of @starsinmycoffeeart.bsky.social 's stickers would work back there, might move em around a tiny bit bit I think they add a lot to the whole thing :)

Photo is a phone resting on a knit tentacle thing. The phone has a case with a bunch of fake tech stuff on it fake circuitry and inputs and general greeble-ing but like it looks good (IMO). Under the case stuff there's 2 stickers, the left (larger) one is of a pastel fluffy elf fella with glasses and a pleasant expression, the one on the right is covered a bit more by the cases stuff but uts of a funny lil from guy admiring their magic orb, they seemingly have robes and a wizards hat on, its very cute.

Got jump scared by this absolutely stunning photo in the Wikipedia page for "feral cats" lol

Black and white photo of 17 cats walking or sitting on a kinda-tiled rugged road thing. The picture is taken from above and something about the composition, all of their shadows in the same direction, the way half of em are looking in a single direction, the variation of lights and darks, it's stunning.
I took a screen cap of the wikimedia page that shows credit and file info.

The avatar editor in Guilty Gear Strive is pretty bad but honestly, this might be my favorite iteration of my OC Partridge, all of the neutral tones actually work together and don't look bad and lame :)

Thing from the game guilty gear strive, its a voxel character with a tan jacket, open to a dark blue bra or binder and grayish-tealish skin. It's wearing a pleated skirt thats a brown and has some heels on (it was a thing where ya needed the heels for the wings), on its back are two fairly small white wings with brown tips, the character has brown hair and a plain what mask with closed eyes and a smile.

Lmao the 2nd image I didn't know cops did that irl

A furry artist (couldn't find the original artist) parody of B. Hap Kliban famous cartoon, the substance is mostly similar, a cartoonist with a beautiful woman on each arm, strolling down the street. A third woman holds her hands to her chest, hearts are floating around her, its clear is enamored with the artist. In the original a cop is yelling "Out of the way, you swine! A *cartoonist* is coming!" as he kicks a man off of the sidewalk into the road. The kicked man is falling in a crazy fashion, taken unawares as his whole body was swept off of the ground by the kick to the back, his accessories, a hat and glasses fly off of him, showing the force of the kick, it looks awesome. The version I posted here has the roles of the kicker and kicked swapped, a cool lookin punk with ACAB emblazoned on his vest kicks a cop into the road, its that same crazy fall, and it looks kind of like the 2nd photo in the parent post of this thread.
Thank you have a nice day!

And people who do have community are chastised by him as being "dramatic" and "complying in advance" (???) [This screencap was in response to the 2nd post in the thread]

A screenshot in response to Tom Nichols post saying "1. If America were fascist right now, I would not be posting here. Neither would you.

Instead, I - and you - would be trying to build networks of people *offline* who can support and protect each other, in the dark, rather than yelling at the president and his stooges in our own names."

Response: "Tom, I deeply respect you and I’m glad you’re here.
My friends and I quit posting on most social networks in 2016, deleted our twitter and meta accounts in 2018-2020, and post a carefully curated list of non-offensive things here.
And we, like the DoD, use Signal for all real communications."

Tom Nichols responds: "Why? Do you think you're that important or interesting? That's just drama, my friend. You're "obeying in advance," probably because it feels very dramatic to think you must go into hiding."

Another person replies: "We are heading toward fascism. What would you say to the folks who got fired because they posted some of Charlie Kirk's actual words? A local Italian restaurant here did exactly that to kitchen staff. What about the citizens locked up for looking Latino?"

A little poem, wrote part of a slightly longer thing as well tonight, felt inspired :) Also since this is a bit closer to actually sounding like a take I would have, the title is mostly me thinking that the speaker is dumb as fuck and needs to wake up and realize that people are often just cool.

"In need of a punch to the jaw"
There are two faces to everything
A hello to every goodbye
A scowl to every smile
Heartbreak to every first love

But uh, people are clever

So they show only one face
And keep the other hidden
Your kind gestures can only mean
Jabs and insults elsewhere
To deny it is just stupid
Every medicine has a bad taste
All practice is tedious
To disdain this is also stupid

So please
Next time you see me
Punch me in the gut
And kiss my memory
