I think Xie Lian is relatable to me because I'm past my 30s. So I have this "past life" where I was very idealistic but also a bit naive and perhaps even arrogant because I didn't know enough of the world. I haven't let go my ideals but I'm more grounded now, I feel the same is true for XL

MIMI IS GREAT And while looking for this fic I realized there's a new Mimi's fic that I haven't read yet. Win-win! 🍻💕

Have you read that one where wwx and jc are swimmers and they go to family therapy except that their therapist (who is lwj) mistakes them for a couple?

My wangxian cheerleaders(?) for this exam. Maybe I should draw them properly after the exam?

Lan Wangji with text: You only have to do your best

Busy Wei Wuxian making a talisman. Text: "Evil doesn't rest"

Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian drawn on post its that I stuck on the side of the screen to watch over me while I study

Bingyuan where Binghe uses Xinmo to connect thru dimensions with Shen Yuan's phone. Binghe holds the hilt next to his ear to take a call from SY, with the blade pointing up like an antenna. It looks like the most ridiculous thing after 80's satellite phones

Biologists have tested Liu Qingge's DNA and discovered he belongs to a cat species they had never described before

0143

Daydreaming @currentdaydream.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

"Liu Qingge was hit with a curse that turned him into a cat" You mean he had been turned into a human before that? I'm confused

Daydreaming @currentdaydream.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

Oh I assumed it was because it's the first day of autumn in the north hemisphere and Qingqiu means clear autumn?

He's a fungiiiiiii!!! So, yes? Sorry, I get insufferable when they call him a plant when Fungi are a completely different kingdom, closer to animals than plants 😔

Noo, that's his general sketchbook, how dare you taking photos! (This idea wouldn't leave me. I had this very specific image in my mind, kind like flash photo/Polaroid. And i just realised i made him left handed ahaha 😅) #TGCF #HuaCheng

Well he got right that there's kitten killing on this story (not sure if that's on the adaptation tho)

Spoiler: Shen Qiao was indeed very much into Yan Wushi. (The only one who needed that spoiler alert was Shen Qiao himself, tho)

The flash light!! He looks adorable!! And what Xie Lian would match this Hua Cheng?

110

Daydreaming @currentdaydream.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

Yeah it is ambiguous so... We'll never know! I just wouldn't want to be that guy after... Dianxia! was injured! and his gift armory burnt down... All because hc was covering up for him and xl got involved, no, please I would prefer to die again by myself

110

Daydreaming @currentdaydream.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

I always thought the "he owes hc money" was because of the fire in paradise manor. HC words it like that bcs he knows XL feels guilty about it and avoids to bring it up, but in reality HC must blame his "friend" for what happened

110

Daydreaming @currentdaydream.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

Shen Qingqiu would be one of those awful dog owners " Ah, don't mind him. He just wants to play with you! He thinks he's a little puppy." Meanwhile the huge, heavy, not-little Bingpup is growling at you because you dared to look in the way of sqq

I don't know you but I'm already grateful for your mother bringing you into this world

Daydreaming @currentdaydream.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

The way Liu Qingge spends the whole novel chasing after Shen Qingqiu in order to bring him back to the righteous sect and away from deviating into queerness but he can't help but to do it in the most gay way possible. My baby, you're not meditating the gay out of you 😢

040

Daydreaming @currentdaydream.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

The fan = SQQ mask of good peak lord behavior that he should keep up so that the world thinks he's a respectable cultivator holding only respectable (repressed) relationships with his (repressed) martial brothers and not concocting with demons (being gay)

041

Daydreaming @currentdaydream.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

I feel SQQ would think he would "sacrifice" himself bcs the protagonist shouldn't have to do this, and then he turns around to face lbh already dressed and with full make up

160

Daydreaming @currentdaydream.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

Also funny: straight Shi Qingxuan I respect the author's work but who would buy that... Also can we all stop equating canon couple = happy ending. Beef leaf is canon to me even if they never meet again, they're a tragic story. Whatever happened between Xue Yang / Xiao Xingcheng was queer, if toxic

030

Daydreaming @currentdaydream.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

He doesn't care about fame nor glory, he only cares about his Wei Ying 😊

010

Daydreaming @currentdaydream.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

SQQ could have found this at any point after LBH lost it. He could have found it after kicking LBH into the abyss and feel nostalgic about his disciple. The reality is more villainous bcs even if SQQ didn't steal it, he held on to it to save his ass later

010

Daydreaming @currentdaydream.bsky.social · 03/09/2026

Wangxian praise kink is so interesting, bcs LWJ isn't the typically ostracized character who gets praised at last, only by his beloved. No, he's a Lan Jade, admired by his character and cultivation, ranked 2nd in handsomeness in the whole cultivation world... But he *only* cares when WWX praises him

I haven't read other transmigration novels (half a book of misvil doesn't count!) but maybe it's because his character is doomed? It makes sense that he's especially paranoid
