With everything going on, it was getting harder and harder to get any rest that felt... restful. He really had no other word for it. Also, it was nice knowing he would get to spend time with Bakugou today that wasn't work-related and could just be the two of them.

Then again, he wasn't sure when that was, but a shower sounded like a good idea... He let out a sigh and got himself on his feet. He had to get into the shower before he lost all motivation again. Maybe he should try to stay away from the night patrols for a bit. He might be overworking himself.

Kirishima had fallen asleep on the couch after eating the breakfast Bakugou had sent him. He had been so exhausted that he didn't even notice until the daylight coming from the window hit his face. He adjusted himself with a sigh. He should go get ready to go out before Bakugou arrived.

By the time he got to the mall, the only idea he had was a home gym, and they for sure did not have the space for that at the moment. Would a new house be too much? He wondered as he started walking around. He couldn't buy a house without Kirishima looking at it first, that would be ridiculous.

He opened the box and gasped slightly as he saw the bouquet of flowers at the very top. It was a red rose bouquet, the stems cut so short it looked like it was a square of roses. Under the flowers was a protective layer. He lifted it to find a note laying on top of takeout containers.

He went to the kitchen, placing the box on the table. It was a decent weight, and he could feel some slight movement inside. Part of him wanted to just leave the box there and climb back to bed, but curiosity did kill the cat, and he wasn't sure he would be able to sleep without looking inside.

He was drifting back to sleep when the doorbell rang. He groaned at the sound. Maybe if he didn't move, they would go away. Nope. There it was again. Persistent and multiple times now. So, Kirishima reluctantly pushed himself out of his warm, comfortable bed and headed to the door.

Kirishima had had such a busy night. He wasn't sure why everyone decided to be criminals when it was his turn to patrol at night, but he was seriously starting to think it was a conspiracy against him. Denki joked that it was because everyone wanted to be put into a headlock by Kirishima.

Kirishima was taking most of their meetings, and Bakugou was dealing with paperwork. They communicated in such a way that it seemed like they were both aware of everything while working separately. Bakugou couldn't help but feel so lucky to have Kirishima in his life.
