Giving this a boost! Blurb for my game: "When a struggling author turned power mad reality warper crashes a pop culture convention, it's up to our heroes to save the day! Can they find a way to stop this chaotic creator or will he succeed at turning the event into A Convention of Terror and Ruin?!"

Youthful Whimsy - When I was younger I made up a little modification on the lucky penny superstition. Instead of taking a face-up penny for good luck, you could flip the face down to pour the good luck into the surrounding ground making the area luckier as a whole.

Issue #4 of Lemire's Moon Knight run features a gorgeous cover. This one moved the story along just a bit before the big cliffhanger ending, and serves to whittle down the cast of Marc's allies. #comicsky #marvel

The cover to Moon Knight #4 by Jeff Lemire. An unmasked Moon Knight is about to or has just kissed a blonde woman named Marlene who is seemingly fading into sand.

The reading club continues! Major points: 1) The cover is absolutely SICK. 2) Our protagonist and his allies launch their escape, but at a cost! 3) Art!continues to shine. It's gritty, it's expressive, it's great. 4) The world of myth continues to blend with the "real world", many questions remain!

The cover to Moon Knight #3 by Jeff Lemire, showing a gray-skinned zombie wrapped in white cloth.

Happy NCBD, folks. Whatcha picking up today? The ones I'm interested in picking up are: Imperial #3 (Marvel) Justice League Red #1 (DC) The Power Fantasy #11 (Image) The Umbrella Academy: Plan B (Dark Horse) Not sure if I'll actually grab 'em today, but those would be the targets! #comicbook

Lemire's Moon Knight #2! The mystery continues this issue as Moon Knight is brought into an escape attempt by would-be allies. His relationship Khonshu is explored here as the god demands faith from his "son" while berating and insulting him.

The cover to Moon Knight #2 by Jeff Lemire, showing Marc Spector with a moon symbol on his forehead and the god Khonshu's bird skull behind him, blending in the star patterned triangle.

As part of the Mutants & Masterminds 4e Playtest I've been completing a series of challenges. My current challenge is to adapt a character from fiction. I'm leaning toward a comic character, naturally. Any suggestions, comic or otherwise? #ttrpgs #comicbooks

Moon Knight #1 by Jeff Lemire and Greg Smallwood. A sufficiently mind-bending start to Lemire's tenure with Marc Spector has both the titular character and the reader questioning the reality of the story. (cont.)

The cover to Moon Knight #1 by Jeff Lemire and Greg Smallwood. It shows Moon Knight in a straight jacket that looks like a modification of his costume.

I pride myself on my professionalism in comics. I don't talk shit about books I don't enjoy. I am happy when folks get gigs even if I wish I landed them. So when I say the transphobic bullshit in the new BLOODSHOT #1 comic is disgusting and should have never made it to print. Shameful shit.

Transphobic panels from the new Bloodshot #1 where the lead describes young people being allowed to become vampires by their parents using the exact same language that bigots use to describe trans children

Went 2-2 at yesterday's locals earning 5th place out of the 12 playing a Green/Blue breach heavy deck using most of the Wing cards. Both teams that shut me down were heavy on blockers and I didn't have the draw to sustain at the end. I pulled Gundam Aeriel in my participation pack. #GundamCG

This card is super useful for Wing decks, I misread it at first and thought I could only look for pilots but ot covers units too. Search + add to hand slaps!

Path to Victory or Defeat card for the Gundam Card Game. It features art of Wing Gundam and the text
"The Path to Victory or Defeat
Main:
Look at the top 5 cards of your deck. You may reveal 1 (Operation Meteor)/(G Team) Unit card/Pilot card among them and add it to your hand. Return the remaining cards randomly to the bottom of your deck."

Hoping future sets make OZ decks fun and viable. OZ pilots (Treize & Une) for the WoA Leos and a big hitter outside of Tallgeese (who can't really headline) would be a great start. In general more keyword support would be cool, I think Noin's Aries was a great step toward that. #GundamCardGame

It's been really fun seeing people react to the rules in the Mutants & Masterminds 4e playtest, they've pointed out some things I wouldn't have caught. I need to run some white room combat to test the Damage rules (I suspect there's too much Stun going around). #TTRPGs #Mutants&Masterminds
