My autism affects me in many ways. I have a lot of difficulties. You might not be able to see it, but I have to manage my whole life around it. #autism #aspergers #asd #asc #invisibledisability

I tried something new and it #changedmylife... I started playing #squash. I have no experience in #racketsports. I’ve never done any exercise that has involved others. I’ve never gone to a venue to exercise. I was #terrified of #PE. lessons. thegirlwiththecurlyhair.co.uk/2026/09/29/i...

We’re working on a research project to better understand how neurodivergent & neurotypical children and young people experience #roads and #streets. Please answer our surveys or share with any relevant people or networks: thegirlwiththecurlyhair.co.uk/2026/07/30/r... #roadsafety #autism #asd #asc

Please water young trees, or trees that look like they are suffering, during periods of drought. Use #greywater. Thanks @richmondcouncil.bsky.social for putting up these helpful signs. #climatechange #heatwave #trees

Hi everyone, this whole climate change thing is a LOT isn’t it?! Everyone’s talking about it everywhere and it’s so hot. It’s great it’s being spoken about but it can feel quite overwhelming right? But today I had a breezy cycle and went through a beautiful tree canopy .. 1/7

#Teddington #HamptonWick @teddingtontown.bsky.social The pond in #LangdonPark is almost completely dry. It's home to the protected Great Crested Newt, #frogs and of course other #wildlife & #birds use it for drinking. If you are walking past, please drop some water into the deep muddy depressions.

A drawback of strategies, and a consequence of autism being an invisible condition, is that effort and personal cost may go unnoticed. People simply see that you have completed the task, not how you did it or what it cost you. #autism #invisibledisability #asd #asc #disability

Autistic people can have very thorough ways of thinking which means that when 1 small thing changes, it affects all their other thoughts and plans. It can cause unexpected problems that the #autistic person had not had time to think about, so they feel anxious trying to deal with this new challenge.
