#FamilyHistory I may be playing catch up here but I was massively shocked when charged £16 for a will instead of the usual £1.50! Not doing that again in a hurry!

And also being amazed at the social history uncovered. I found an ancestor who died in the famous Great Ormond Steet hospital at its inception when Charles Dickens was a supporter and fundraiser!

My mum was a hoarder as well and kept files on all her foreign holidays and every letter my father sent her and every card from the age of 21!

Hi there #GenHour. I have been researching a person on the 1939 register and am a bit baffled. My Heritage gives me an index of 3 people in the household and Ancestry only 1 both index and record. Is says the record is closed. Any ideas why?

This version ended too quick for my liking. The baddies just got ill and died within a few minutes without any lead up!

Quite emotional to see your ancestor in one of those case files with a photo…I found my great grandmother in one in Somerset…astonishing to put it mildly
