Our sole hardcover book, so far. The great #MOBYDICK by #HermanMelville. I think I'm most proud of this book, on the whole. I look forward to the day I get around to Don Quixote and Ulysses in similar fashion. Get a decent discount buying direct from IngramSpark: shop.ingramspark.com/b/084?8venao...

Wow! Just got blocked by someone for holding a very minor opinion about illegally uploaded audiobooks on YouTube! My opinion? You're free to listen to those audiobooks, fine, but support the creators and publishers when you can. BLOCKED. Well. Good day, sir! :)

My only point is to support the creators and, yes, the publishers when you can.

Not so long dead, really, but his estate is still active, and his publishers are still around. The narrators are still alive, so far as I know.

But illegal to upload; the publishers are not the ones who uploaded those. So, sure, you can listen to it safely, but you're in no way supporting the actual creators. Music videos are generally uploaded by the artists or the labels themselves.

Oh man, I hear you there. Part of the joy of doing these books is justifying a bunch of research for them in hopes of being able to provide some supplementary material; A Passage to India would be an incredible one to learn more about!

Piranesi by Susanna Clarke, narrated by Chiwetel Ejiofor. Can’t count the number of times I’ve listened to it. It’s excellent, all ‘round.

Very much on the list! I've been meaning to catch up on my Hesse since forever. also... artsy synthpop?! F*** yes. I was very sad to miss a show tonight featuring my good friends Pleasure Prince, of which a dude who goes by Neo Tokyo Philharmonic was also playing.

My wife's favorite book, and one of my top five, probably. Oscar Wilde, the man, is even higher! One of the first books I made an edition of, in which I was able to include some fascinating supplementary material in the back. www.amazon.com/dp/0984309357

Awesome. I have yet to read any Maugham but he's on the list, for sure.

Nice! It always helps when you find a book on your own, doesn't it? or sometimes the book just finds YOU.

In between a full-time job it's been a challenge to find the time and energy to work on Curiouser House but I still want to let people know about the handful of books we have available, because I am quite pleased with how they turned out. Also, not sure exactly how much I'll be posting here, but...

Forgive the WIP-nature of the website. I almost want to place an old internet style construction worker gif in there somewhere. Thing is: I had a decent site thru Wordpress for a while, but a random plugin update caused it to go BANG. DEAD. So I'm building it up again by scratch, sans WordPress.

Quick intro! I am a one-person publishing biz trying with a handful of books out and looking to publish a whole lot more in the future. So far I'm most pleased with my editions of Moby Dick, Picture of Dorian Gray, and Lud-in-the-Mist! curiouser.house
