I'm not a #bugsky person but I like the cut of this critter's jib, as one does

Luna moth chillin on bricks just outside a black door frame. The moth looks like a green leaf with lavender front edges on the swept forewings, and has long hind wings that curl. Ther are also feathery gold antennae and each fore wing has a small eyespot.

random early morning #ampguts for some reason I mostly have pix of these without the dummy load (see below) but here's what it looks like with a dummy load and a speaker output jack

Inside the chassis of a fully-wired Audity One recording amplifier by Curious Audio. The power supply is at the bottom of the photo and includes the power inlet, fuse holder, power switch, pilot light, green heater wires, two large black capacitor cans, and the first of four tube sockets. The power amplifier includes the second tube socket, the two largest grey resistors, a speaker output jack in the middle of the left side of the chassis, a large white dummy load resistor, and the blue and brown wires that connect through the chassis to the output transformer (not visible). What remains are the effects and preamplifier sections, which use the two remaining tube sockets, three yellow capacitors, four orange coupling capacitors, several blue resistors, a yellow turret board with brass turrets, four potentiometers, three input jacks, and an input transformer. The chassis is clear steel and says the serial number A1-11 in a box, "chrome" above and "to the bone" below that box, and instructions on how to change the input voltage setting from 120 volts to 240 volts written in black marker.

Stuff you need to test gear I always check both 120 and 240 volts in case someone needs to get freaky or international with it

A red 5 amp variac on top of a black step up and down transformer by Simran. The red variac has an analog meter that shows voltage. The Simran transformer has three different kinds of outlets on the front panel.

This is a new thing - the first Audity One that's just an amplifier head with no cabinet. The jack on the back is for an external speaker, but when no cable is connected it defaults back to the dummy load. So's ya don't blow yer output transformer!
