“Human development in the sense that concerns education is not an informational state we reach but a historical process we undergo, in which what changes is not only what one can do but what one finds it possible to want, to attend to, and to be answerable for.” karger.com/hde/article/...

This article argues that such accounts rest on false assumptions. Development is better understood not as an informational state but as a relational, historical process of becoming through which persons emerge and continue to change. Drawing on Vygotsky, on Ilyenkov's distinction between living and petrified ideality, and on the enactive approach to cognition, we characterise development through four features: its historicity, its dependence on reciprocal sense-making, its mediation by others who orient the learner, and its cultivation within relations of care. Large language models operate over the sedimented products of these processes without participating in them. As objectifications of human purposes, such systems

Another interesting omni-prompt could go in the direction of politics and participation: why is the AFD so strong currently in germany? I think it is also because people want different forms of participation. So run a OP, but then not blindly implement it but discuss it in public and change.

Did I ever tell you about the **omni** prompt idea? Its a prompt where you include a lot of things to consider for a decision to be made. I think many rich people are doing prompts on how to increase power, money or influence. But it is only a - reflection of their psychological inclination.

Yes the advances accelerate - centralization - control and thus power. For most people the _speed_ of AI development is just an accelerator of their own misunderstanding with other people. You can accelerate software but not really human understanding.

Screenshot of Google Photos Gemini onboarding screen on mobile (Android, 11:21 AM, 50% battery). The screen features a search icon with a sparkle and the heading "Use Gemini for new ways to search & create." Below, terms for enabling Gemini are listed: "Gain a deep understanding of your life" (highlighted with a green border), "Determine your location," and "Use your queries to improve." Fine print notes that Google Terms apply and these features can make mistakes about people. Links to Google Privacy Policy and Gemini features in Photos Privacy Hub are included. Two buttons at the bottom: "No thanks" (gray) and "Turn on" (green).

Expecting researcher taste and judgement to become increasingly valuable (this is from Anthropic's Opus 5.5 system card) anthropic.com/claude-opus-...
This is highly uncertain, but we expect that full automation of AI R&D
will require large improvements in foresight, prediction, creating
one’s own feedback loops, and generally other skills that might
typically be referred to as researcher “judgement” or “taste”.
○ The evidence we have does not suggest that [Claude Opus 5.5]
represents a large improvement over Fable 5.1 in these
“judgement” skills.

Semble can be used as a shared bookmark/knowledge base, but it is also searchable for other people so in that sense its a small attempt to replace parts of what is now getting lost through search engines. Lets create a massiv P2P / soveregn good technology knowledge pool, together :)

I think so but even more the rect thing. We are leaving with lightspeed the age behind us where things can be found with search engines and the agents index are slow and not looking in the spaces that we want to connect they hide a bit, for reasons, do you know @semble.so ?
