Here's a short gameplay of Cupcatch in a teaser trailer style, with multiple shots highlighting the interesting part. Pretty cool, right? Anyway, stay tuned for an upcoming Demo ♪(´▽｀) #cupcatch #indiegame #devlog #teaser #gameplay

More context because I can't shove more word in the post: It has always been super bloated since the first version was out for my testers and it cannot be that way for a catch game So after many versions with more optimization, I can proudly say the current version is lighter than the first one

For the past 6 weeks, I've been debloating my game and managed to bring the size down to 56.4 MB in a raw folder, and it's projected to reach ~77 MB once exported The debloating was done by compacting most single sprite files to a spritesheet and converting .wav to .ogg #cupcatch #gamedev #devlog

Development is still underway. There's a lot more planned for Cupcatch, but I'll be keeping some of the newer stuff under wraps for now In the meantime... enjoy these little butterflies #cupcatch

Introduction to my first game project: Cupcatch is a chaotic arcade game about catching cupcakes before they hit the ground Multiple game modes, supporting items, ridiculous situations and a lot of things that Waffle finds nonsense but he's too hungry to care about #cupcatch
