I think it's mainly a result of desperation and even with all that you've mentioned vrchat is still trying to find alternate providers, sadly I think they are doing jack shit cause that's how they run everything, but that's their "truth"

To be fair vrchat vs discord needed verification way more at the time because not only was pedophilia more widely known but kids started getting quests for Christmas and when we started hounding on vrchat to add some type of verification they always pushed back.

Some of the best artpieces are from people who had either limited pigments, had a form of color blindness, or heck couldn't even see at all. As I always say, sometimes its more fun when you just let the colors be wonky
