Cultprits @cultprits.bsky.social · 01/10/2026@lightsabertoothcat.bsky.social our 3D artist created some adorable art #inktober #day1 #apple 160
Cultprits @cultprits.bsky.social · 15/09/2026We have a new, indescribably cool Steam capsule. Two perfectly trustworthy investigators, definitely not watching each other, definitely not hiding anything. #GameDev #IndieGame 1143
Cultprits @cultprits.bsky.social · 31/08/2026In Cultprits, quest rewards and crafting choices can push you in very different directions Do you take something for finding clues, investigating other players, protecting your sanity, or just making life easier? Each choice changes what you're good at and how you help the team #GameDev #IndieGame 0101
Cultprits @cultprits.bsky.social · 27/08/2026Cultprits planned to use classic minigames And they felt disconnected from the rest of the game So, we're replacing most of them with quests that create social situations Follow someone. Cast a spell. Craft an item And justify it by saying the NPC needs it Even if that's not true #GameDev #IndieGame 092
Cultprits @cultprits.bsky.social · 26/08/2026Meet Cultprits' dormitory master and matron. They run parts of Arkham, take bribes, and accept complaints about suspicious investigators. Get enough people to file complaints about the same person, and that investigator gets thrown out of that district Very civic-minded people #GameDev #IndieGame 0113
Cultprits @cultprits.bsky.social · 25/08/2026In Cultprits, cultists choose the night, but investigators won't know what it is until it starts. Maybe everyone swaps voices. Maybe items jump between nearby inventories. Maybe nobody can see each other. If you could add one horrible night effect to the game, what would it do? #GameDev #IndieGame 0204
Cultprits @cultprits.bsky.social · 24/08/2026I should have posted this from my official account, not my personal one >_< 150
Cultprits @cultprits.bsky.social · 14/08/2026That's it, we're ceasing any attempts at marketing. Please don't ruin our perfect wishlist number. 020
Cultprits @cultprits.bsky.social · 13/07/2026We want deduction, not bluff, so every action in Cultprits leaves traces. Namely, every NPC will snitch on you when asked! How screwed would you be if this happened in your favorite game? #GameDev #IndieDev 1173
Cultprits @cultprits.bsky.social · 20/06/2026Cultists can't kill investigators... but they can drive them mad. Abilities, dark rituals, and horrors of the night push players towards insanity. Those affected start burning useful items, sleepwalking into dark rituals, manifesting hostile doppelgangers... and much worse. #SocialDeduction 030
Cultprits @cultprits.bsky.social · 19/06/2026The worst role in social deduction games? The ghost. In Cultprits, nobody gets stuck spectating. You can be exiled from entire districts. You can descend into madness. You can become your own team's biggest problem. But you're always part of the story until the end. #gamedev #indiegame 1152
Cultprits @cultprits.bsky.social · 13/06/20262 years ago we slapped together a crappy UI for creating game sessions. It was a pain at every test, which we always handwaved away with "We're gonna switch to a proper 3D lobby anyway!" The Augean task of cleaning up that mess took 3 programmers several months. And it's done! 040
Cultprits @cultprits.bsky.social · 13/05/2026"Do it! Cast it into the fire!" "No... I don't think I will" cultist face 030
Cultprits @cultprits.bsky.social · 13/04/2026Attention, dear cultists! The Dark Altar is your steadfast ally in invoking nights steeped in eldritch dread and creeping despair. #IndieGames #Lovecraftian #SocialDeduction #ScreenshotMonday 153
Cultprits @cultprits.bsky.social · 13/03/2026In the props department, another museum exhibition is finalized, and we've been sprinkling props on desks and mantlepieces. Every book and scroll might be hiding a spooky story! 051
Cultprits @cultprits.bsky.social · 13/03/2026Friday the 13th... twice in a row! Another busy month went by! We've gone ahead and implemented all remaining pages in the player's journal. They are gorgeous as usual — and thanks to a custom system of hyperlinks, it seems like most of them are quite handy to navigate! 020
Cultprits @cultprits.bsky.social · 27/02/2026We’re insanely happy we found our artist She’s still a student but her style fits our cooperative horror detective game perfectly And yes there isn’t and never will be a single AI-generated pixel in this project #indiegame #noAI 072
Cultprits @cultprits.bsky.social · 23/02/2026The further we moved away from resource management, the stronger the mystery-solving core of Cultprits became. It takes 3 clues to identify one of the 20 Eldritch Gods. Each clue is a unique mechanic — often built around social interaction — designed to make you feel like a true occult investigator. 020
Cultprits @cultprits.bsky.social · 22/02/2026As providence would have it, our second programmer — a devoted scholar of Lovecraft — altered our course. From the briny shores of Innsmouth we turned to the gloomy streets of Arkham. The steamships faded away. The investigators began their vigil. 051
Cultprits @cultprits.bsky.social · 30/01/2026It started while watching streams of Among Us-like games and a simple thought: “What if social deduction, but with Dredge-level dread?” 070
Cultprits @cultprits.bsky.social · 29/01/2026The investigation begins. Culprits is a horror-detective game where a team of investigators tries to seal an Ancient God before it’s too late. We’ll be sharing dev logs, experiments, and strange findings along the way. Follow us and add the game to your wishlist 0190
