Cultists & Cubicles

A rules-lite tabletop role-playing game about the horrors of working in the tech industry

Cultists & Cubicles @cultistsandcubicles.com · 24/05/2026

Cultists & Cubicles has finally manifested in physical form. The books arrived from the printer just the other day, and it’s exciting to hold the finished hardcover in my hands at last. I’m really happy with how everything turned out. #ttrpg #indiegame #osr #compatiblewithmörkborg

A spread from the book. You may have seen it before as a mockup or as a testprint, but this is the real deal.

The proofs for Cultists & Cubicles have arrived from the printer! At first glance, things look great, but Pontus and I will scrutinize the book carefully (and imagine the cover in its proper place).

An open spread from the test print showing the section on Fighting and encounters. It looks good.

White cover with a sticker marked ”simulated test print”. The color print for the hardcover is visible in the background.

The cover to KULT has not aged so well. “Not recommended for people younger than 15 years”

Since Cultists & Cubicles is based on a pre-existing ruleset (from Mörk Borg), playtesting mostly influenced the scenario that comes with the game. It did also result in alternative rules for hit points and sanity, to give a bit more balance compared to the original.
