My wife and I returned from a great trip to Walt Disney World. It was our first time returning after nearly two years. We ate great food, drank great drinks, rode the rides, swam in the pools and lazy rivers, and savored every moment.

Hokum is a slow burner. The creepy parts, however, are brilliantly executed. Overall, I enjoyed it much more than Undertone but nowhere near as much as Obsession, Backrooms, 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, or Evil Dead Burn.

October Rust turns 30 years old. I got this album the year it came out when I was 12 years old. It was a life changing listening experience. It’s still a masterpiece in my book. I think it’s their best album, with World Coming Down nearly as a tie.

Undertone was OK. I do wish that more was done with the storyline. The premise is solid and some of the imagery, setting, and sound design was well executed. That said, it feels incomplete. Nonetheless, if a sequel were made that went deeper into the story, I’d definitely check it out.
