2/22: Cube For a Cause Free Play - Last Stand of the Khans 3-0 Drafted this Mardu desert cube: P1P1 Nomad Outpost. Cube is very bomby, I just wanted to curve out into my busted 5 drops. Ended up in a RW deck that attacked well and lasted into the late game. Lifelink was a great keyword here.

2/22: Cube For a Cause Round 3 - Strixhaven Study Abroad 2-1 Some cards have additional text: Lesson or Learn. Ended up in UB Zombies. Deck was very synergistic + tons of Learn cards. No Way Out is great as a lesson. I made a mistake during the draft taking Bladestiched Skaab over Doom blade.

2/21: Cube For a Cause Round 2 - Sky and Sea 2-1 Busted deck that flickered Venser/Man o' War/Thundertrap for great value with Naban to double my triggers. At one point I bounced all of my opponent's lands to hand. Unfortunately lost to Merfolk - Champions of the Shoal is a house and I stumbled.

2/21: Cube For a Cause Round 1 - Kolósaio 1-2 with a tokens-y Mardu build. Felt like I barely made playables and card quality was solid but not great. Mana was not super consistent for my BB cards. Died on coverage to RW heroic, beat an aggro deck, and then lost to a big multicolor control pile

2/18/26: 2-1 in the UMA+ cube! Started with lab man and Kiora, but artifacts were open. Imotekh was the best card in the deck. Lost in the finals to a great deck with Summon: Titan, Warring Triad, 4cmc Teval.

It was super fun. I brought ~$100 of cards and left with a pool I was excited about. Drafted an abzan tokens deck. Had a conspiracy to give Thalia and the Gitrog Monster haste. Overall a great time!

White elephant stone soup draft today with the @cubeforacause.upkeepnewyork.com crew! This is my 45. Stone soup rules are: everyone brings a color balanced pool of 45 cards, and then we shuffle them up and draft. This week, we did it a little different because we drafted for keeps!

3-0 in last week's cube night - the inaugural draft of a 4-color artifact cube! I ended up drafting mostly a historic/legends deck with a lot of creatures that were able to dodge artifact removal by being non-artifacts. Exorcise is also crazy in a cube with artifact lands.

Final round of PTQ, opp convinced me to ID at 5-2 but I don't really understand the math here. Top 32 play day 2 and top 128 get a pricey promo. Can anyone weigh in on whether I had a shot at top 32 if I won? Chances I would fall out of top 128 if I lost? My breakers were exactly average.

The 3-0 was mono white Big Bodies. Strong blockers, nothing ever got past Palace Jailer. Acceleration with City of Traitors and Cursed Scroll as an additional finisher. Baneslayer was really scary.

Cube night this week! We played my micro cube, Mate in Fifteen. Draft 15 card decks, and you can't lose by decking. Quirion Dryad was the pillar of my deck and I had a bunch of ways to protect it and chip in with 2/1s. 1-2 had some good close games Other decks in the thread!

These were my creations. Baloth could flicker itself for 8 life off of GG. Banisher (banishing light rules text) was great to have on recursive one drops. And I was particularly proud of Syr Faren which could regularly kill with a double backup trigger.

As with @goblingathering.bsky.social's Sticker cube, players get a cheat sheet of stickers and cards remain modified from draft to draft. So there are some broken cards already in the packs and others with great potential.

Drafted 100 Ornithopters at @bostoncubeparty.com! Had a cool deck with a nice toolbox of options to Beseech for, was probably missing a better wincon -- I had plenty of ways to draw half my deck and make 10+ black mana but not much of a way to win with it. 2-1
