it's really really easy to spot slop ui. it's all in the font choices, the layout, the use of superfluous little captions everywhere. especially with egregious use of status lights. no hard and fast rule but you can, unlike an ai, know it when you see it

i didn’t realize how true this is and how much i was naturally doing this, until i tried to debug ai generated code. it sucks. there is nobody there. i cannot tell why anything is anywhere, because nobody put it there. statistically likely sludge without intent
