Dr. Sylvie Naar presented at Continuum 2026 in Puerto Rico on Scale It Up Florida’s Young Adult HealthForce training. Findings from mystery shopping visits across 41 sites revealed gaps in counseling, referrals, provider knowledge, and sexual health education. Congrats to Dr. Naar and co-authors!

Clinical Catalyst Award! Dr. Julia Sheffler and team secured a $50K award to adapt the ICAN nutrition program for older adults in clinical care. The project will assess feasibility and health impact through an interdisciplinary approach. Congrats to all investigators and collaborator Dr. Cielo Rose.

In October, the Great Race Annual 5K Run/Walk was held in Perry, FL. Proceeds were donated to community efforts for those impacted by Hurricane Helene. CTBS Assistant Director, Sara Green participated and placed 3rd in gender/age group. Way to go, Sara!
