Theirs way more at stake than just the next election. People get focused on winning at any cost. If we vote for the status quo, you'll get no accountability for this administration, weak policy that probably never passes, and we'll lose the country in the long run. We need change, real change.

We need to win the next election, but we need to choose a different direction in candidates. No centrist bs and no more status quo bs.

This is the best explanation I've read of the potential impact of AI. I'm not optimistic: Many people find reasoning difficult and willingly cede the work to others. Those others (politicians, rich people, clergy, AI, ...) often use that authority in ways not beneficial to the bulk of humankind.

Fuck Amazon. Liberals kept it in business when it first started because it was a book store and maga can't read. Tax him and his company at 1950s tax rates since they love that decade. Tax rate over certain amount was 91%. Sounds good to me.
