As a newb frontend developer (but with many years of backend experience), it blows my mind how good all of the web profiling and performance tooling is! I just opened the “Timelines” tab in Safari dev tools and I can’t believe how much information you get without having to do anything! 🤯

A game changer for my developer productivity has been @raycast.com AI. I very rarely need to web search anything anymore. It just removes a bunch of friction and gets me to my answer much quicker.

This past spring I set up Starlink at my off grid cottage. I had a few constraints, mainly : lots of trees that I refuse to cut down, limited power and cable distance.
