At our #CSBLunchSeminar, Oliver Hümbelin presented his research “When Social Rights Go Unclaimed: A Decade of Non-Take-Up Research in Switzerland.” He discussed how non-take-up can be measured using linked administrative data and showed that a policy reform increased non-take-up.

Last week at our #CSBLunchSeminar, Stef Dielen presented his research on psychotropic drug use and social integration among older adults. Using #SHARE data, the study examines whether such medication supports social engagement or instead acts as a substitute for social ties.

Wouter presented his work on using the maximal position approach to identify older Europeans with clustered disadvantages. Using cross-country data from SHARE, he examined the correlation between clustered disadvantages and mortality rates, and their persistence.

Our very own Sakura recently presented her work assessing the welfare outcomes of Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) programmes. She evaluated a hypothetical expansion in the Colombian CCT programme, estimating the impact of targeting based on a multidimensional well-being proxy.
