Got to see I Saw the TV Glow for the first time with the director herself & a bunch of queer folk. If you haven't seen it, do yourself a favor. Really moving experience. Will be spending more time in this space with friends whenever I can. 🧡

Proud to have been part of 2 demonstrations yesterday. ✊ Huge turnout for our rural towns. Conversed with a lot of familiar faces, and met some incredible new humans we spent hours connecting with over lunch after. Looking forward to future community projects with them. (Press photos not mine!)

More Alex & Rafe because I love these two dorks #ocart #mechanima

Rafe, an android, laying on the bottom bunk of a bunk bed, kicks the top bunk mattress, scaring Alex, his young mechanic who's laying on top of it. Rafe's text reads, "Hey kid, you asleep?"

Top panel of comic shows Alex peering over the side of the top bunk at Rafe, who is biting his tongue in a dorky smirk. Alex replies, "Not anymore. Thanks for asking, loser." The second panel begins with Rafe's response, "You're welc--" cut off as he's hit in the face by Alex's pillow.

Rafe's always sticking his appendages where they don't belong #ocart #mechanima

Alex, a young mechanic, adjusts her goggles with one hand while inspecting an appendage sticking out of Rafe's back with the other. Rafe, an android with torn synthetic skin, some of his metallic skeleton showing through, is sitting hunched over in front of her. Rafe's text reads, "It's not like I trashed 'em on purpose." Alex replies, "Well maybe you shouldn't stick them where they don't belong."

2019 comic pages, just capturing a moment between the Mechanima crew.

4 panel comic page. First panel is a shot of four characters surrounding a fire in a cave, looking out to sea. Alex, a young girl, sits in rogue android Rafe's lap. Izzy, a scrawnier android, sits beside the fire. Angel, a thin fiery woman, stands beside them, arms crossed. Her text reads, "We couldn't have been stranded in a tropical paradise? I can't feel my face."

Panel 2 is a closeup of Rafe grinning down at Alex, who smiles back up at him, bundled in his trenchcoat. Her text reads, "C'mon, Angel! He's like a space heater -- just with a more colorful vocabulary."

Panel 3 shows Angel, arms crossed, looking annoyed, as she replies, "Snuggle up with the killer machine. Sounds real cozy."

Panel 4 shows Izzy leaning in, a smug look on his face, as he responds, "Don't worry, babe -- I don't bite." Rafe looks annoyed as Alex stifles a laugh.

3 panel comic page. In Panel 1, Angel gives in, sitting down beside Rafe, as he shifts the blanket on his shoulders to welcome her to warm herself against him. Her text reads, "Alright, move over. I'm freezing."

Panel 2 shows Angel cozy up to Rafe a bit more, as Alex drools in her sleep. She glances up at Rafe, saying, "Just keep your freaky tentacle junk to yourself."

Panel 3 shows Izzy, being grabbed by one of Rafe's mechanical tentacle arms, about to be dragged into the cuddle puddle with his three crewmates. Rafe's text, from offscreen, reads, "Hey dumbass, get over here. We're havin' a family moment." Izzy replies nervously, "I--okay."

2019 doodles of @coffingeist.bsky.social 's Fear and my boy Rafe (warning for slight gore and spiciness)

Rafe, his robotic skeleton showing after the loss of a lot of his synthetic skin, holds Fear, bleeding and torn, in his arms.

Fear sitting between Rafe's legs in just a tank top and panties, leaning into him and teasing him. Fear's text reads, "You doing okay, Ro-boy?" Rafe, clearly flustered, replies in a written Boston accent, "F-fuck. ...I mean, yes. ...Gahd."

The first pages of Wanderlust Chapter III are up on my page~ readwanderlust.carrd.co

A comic page, done in watercolor style. The first 3 panels show several potted plants taking up space on a variety of surfaces in Sophie's apartment. In the last panel, Sophie sits on her couch, hands tented, a look of deep thought on her face, as a wilting plant sits on the coffee table in front of her.

A thin lithe man dressed in a tight punk button down shirt and ripped pants with zippers and jackets holds up his shapeshifted hands in the devil sign, both with long branchlike clawed fingers. A thick tongue lols from his mouth of sharp teeth as he grins at the viewer.

My dumb monsterboy and his hot girlfriend from my comic Wanderlust~

A red headed woman in a witch outfit with glasses clings to the back of a 10 foot spindly-legged monster cloaked in a sheet like a ghost, holding a bag of candy in his jaws as he runs on all fours, scattering the contents of the bag. A large full moon illuminates them from behind.

A short skinny blonde and brown haired man in a green hoodie lays on his back, while his girlfriend, a chubby red haired woman with glasses wearing red plaid flannel and ripped jeans, leans over him, looking down at him seductively.

My comic takes a bit to get monstrous (and more is coming soon, I promise!) but if you like a shapeshifting skeletal catboy lead character, may I suggest Wanderlust (readwanderlust.carrd.co)?

Hey I'm Jay! 👋 I write and illustrate Wanderlust, a paranormal romance comic with a trans man lead! You can read the first two chapters on readwanderlust.carrd.co and on Webtoon/Tapas (links on carrd)! #comics #webcomics #OC #OCSky #comicart #comicartist #trans #queer #queerart #queerartist

Watercolor style comic page. Panel 1 depicts a red haired woman with glasses and a blonde and brown haired man in a brown hoodie. Both are wearing backpacks for hiking and a row of trees are behind them at sunrise. The woman's dialogue reads, "I know this group socializin' stuff ain't really your thing." The man, with a sarcastic expression, responds, "How'd you guess?"

Panel 2 fills the rest of the page, showing the two characters from behind, walking into an autumn forest behind the silhouettes of their two friends. The woman's dialogue reads, "Just a hunch. But I think you're gonna like this place."

3 panel comic page without dialogue depicting a scene at sunset. The first panel is a closeup of a woman's face, her hands clasped over her mouth, her eyes filled with shock and horror. The second panel shows her drop to her knees, her face cropped from the image. The final panel shows her bent over, face in her cupped hands in sorrow.

5 panel comic page. The first 3 panels show a man's hand, dripping in thick black substance, as the fingers twist and shift into long, gnarled claws. The fourth panel shows a man's face as he screams out the word "FUCKaugh..." with the black substance overtaking his face, strands entering his eyes and mouth. The final panel shows his face stretching, the skin pulling and tearing away as his skull elongates, revealing dripping teeth and fur.

A full page illustration of the head of a bobcat, half of its face revealing the skull within. An upside down night scene is depicted growing beneath the head, with barren trees and a full moon glowing from behind them. The whole image is enshrouded in shades of green.

Art of @dave-w.bsky.social 's fursona! This lil lemur-monkey fella really captured my heart 💙 #furry #furryart #lemur #fursona

A watercolor style drawing of a red-tinged lemur with a black tail, gray face and gray hands, icy gray eyes, a green sleeveless vest and khaki cargo pants. He has 4 colorful bands wrapped near the end of his tail and is looking over his shoulder, arms crossed, with a toothy, wide open-mouthed grin.

Was so excited to do this DTIYS for The Farmer and the Wolf by KastiaKBC! And now that I managed to finish it I'm gonna get caught up on the latest pages that just came out 👀 Check out the comic on Webtoon!

A nervous young woman stands in a field of corn at night, holding her disgruntled looking chicken in her arms. Behind her looms a werewolf in the shadows, red eyes glowing, clawed hands reaching out of the darkness towards her. The image is lit in a red glow. It was drawn by the poster, Cryptid Shadows.
