Hi! I'm Cryptid/Moth - VTuber, beginner game dev., and an artist I would like to join VGen because I have been really getting into art again... and I do need the money I would sell commissions of all sorts, and adoptables (and possibly game assets) Spicy examples here: @moth-after-dark.bsky.social

Guess who is sort of redesigning the main character of their game :3 (here's a very messy sketch of the opening CG. I'll be re-doing all of his art... I'll probably re-do the other characters, too😅) #wip #digitalart #sketch

A messy black and white sketch of a man with medium-length hair talking on a cellphone. He is wearing a cropped shirt with belts on it, and he has his empty hand resting on his hip.

Was practicing pin-up poses and body types last night, and I feel super proud of how this dog gal in a bikini turned out. (I'm marking it as suggestive even though it's just *barely* suggestive.) #furry #digitalart #furryart #sketch

A black and white sketch of a chubby anthropomorthic dog woman in a bikini laying on her side with her head propped on one of her hands. She is looking at the viewer.

Been a while since I've participated in #screenshotsaturday I'm in the process of trying to customize a menu for my #rpgmakerhorror game — Midnight Hour — and I've been adding some sections to the map, as well. (menu plugin by MogHunter: mogplugins.com)

A screenshot of the game menu in Midnight Hour. The top left says "Menu" and there are icons that open different sub-menus. The top left says "Play Time" and shows the time at 4 minutes and 45 seconds.

Both of the main characters are shown in the middle, overlaid above a dark background.
On the left is a silver haired man. There is a box over him that says "Alex" and beneath that is a health bar.
On the right side is a smirking man with long, brown hair. Over him is a box that says "Ivan" along with his health bar.

At the very bottom right of the image is a small box that says the location that the characters are in.

A screenshot from a 2D RPG Maker game depicting a work in progress map of a dingy hospital gift shop.

A screen shot from a 2D RPG Maker game depicting a night time scene of a courtyard covered in overgrown grass. There is a dark tile pathway around the perimeter and a section of dark tiles at the bottom. In the middle is a large, shadowy tree with a stone border around it.

A digital illustration of the two main characters from Midnight Hour, Alex and Ivan, over an orange background.

Ivan is dressed as a 'wolfman' style werewolf and there is a transparent, pale purple collar around his neck with a transparent chain attached to it. He holds Alex in his arms and stares up at him with a dazed expression.

Alex, who is in a purple outfit with a witch's hat, stares down at Ivan with a wicked smirk as he holds the chain in one of his hands.

Have a messy sketch of my catboy Zack on this fine Monday. (This is a current iteration of a rather old OC of mine. Someday he will be in a game, and maybe a short comic) #traditionalart #OC #art #catboy

A pencil sketch of a man with fluffy shoulder-length hair and large cat ears. He is standing with his legs slightly apart. His right hand (viewer's left) is on his hip. His left hand (viewer's right) is up, holding a large sword over his shoulders. His long feline-like tail is slightly curled in front of his left leg.

He is wearing a cowl with a short cape attached, a loose long-sleeved shirt, tight trousers held up by a belt, and lace-up pirate style boots.

I posted this over on YouTube, but I figured I would post a screenshot of the message here too, just so everyone is aware!

Hey all! I hope some of you will see this. (The post might be suppressed if I’m unlucky.)

I think many of you are aware by now (at least in the US) that YouTube is going to implement an AI to determine whether users are children or not by scanning watch history and searches. If your account is flagged as belonging to a minor, they will require either you to send a picture of a valid ID, selfie, or credit card to prove that you are not a child.

There are a lot of videos already talking about why this is a huge problem for privacy and safety reasons, and you can find these videos easily.

However, on August 13th the day that the changes roll out, people are proposing for users and creators alike to take part in a blackout/boycott of YouTube by not using the platform to watch or upload videos.

I will be taking part in this, and I will be taking a hiatus from YouTube for a little while.
(I will likely post one more video before the 13th)

I plan to stream on Twitch during this hiatus and work on completing videos to hopefully be uploaded at a later date.

So please check out my social media linked in the channel description if you want to stay up to date on what I’m doing/when I’m going to stream/other announcements.

If you are 18 or older, you can also join my discord which is linked both on my bluesky or my tumblr.

Thank you for reading this, and stay safe out there

Congratulations on 500+ followers! 🎉 I had to think of who I would want and I've been kinda obsessed with Fields of Mistria... So, I'd love to see March in your style if I get picked🙏

Pixel art of a pale man with red hair that comes down to the middle of his face and is wearing a grey headband that pokes out beneath his bangs. He has dark eyes and a slightly haughty expression.

He is wearing a cropped brown jacket with a white shirt underneath and an undone, long grey apron that is tied around his waist. Around his neck he wears a necklace with a large silver item attached to it.

I missed this yesterday, but it's #ScreenshotSaturday for me right now, so... Here's some fairly out of context screenshots from my #YaoiJam submission.

A colored digital drawing of a young man with silver hair, dressed in a dark grey crop-top and fishnet arm-warmers, holding a smartphone up to his face. He is standing in front of a dark, blurred background of a building.
He is wearing an irritated expression. There is a textbox on the bottom of the screen the that has his name, Alex, in the right corner.
His dialogue in the text box says "... Those assholes ditched me!"

A screenshot of a digital drawing of a pale hand holding a smartphone with a green case. On the smartphone screen it shows the time as 11:59 in bright numbers

Over the hand is a textbox that says "Do you want to go in?"
Beneath that textbox is a smaller text box that says "Yes" or "No"

A screenshot of a dim hospital room in a RPG Maker game.
There is a dark, somewhat translucent figure hovering at the bottom right of the room. The figure is missing their arms and feet.
There is a torn up hospital bed at the top left of the room.

A screenshot from a RPG Maker game.

A monstrous being wearing nurses scrubs and bandages that cover most of their head and body is on the screen. They have grey skin and chin-length purple hair.
Their head is tilted and they are seemingly smiling.
There is a textbox on the bottom of the screen with their dialogue that says "A living human?"

Posting this here, too. Before I forget. Here's a fan art of Milo from #QuaintVN

A person with shoulder length pink hair, tied back in a short ponytail stands in front of a prismatic, hexagonal background. They are winking with their mouth set in a cheeky grin.
They wear brown gloves on each hand. One hand is held up with three of their fingers curled and their fore-finger and thumb in an upwards pointing in a position. Their other hand us held out to the side, palm facing up with the artist's signature hovering over it.

The person is wearing a periwinkle colored button up shirt tucked into a pair of brown slacks. Their shirt has a large, somewhat high collar tied together with a yellow ribbon. The sleeves are pushed up to the elbow. Over their shoulders is a dark purple cloth that is worn like a cape behind them and comes over their front, split in the middle so that their shirt is still visible.

Happy Pride Month from your local queer moth cryptid!

A purple, humanoid moth-like creature is positioned in front of the Progress Pride Flag with a purple border.
The moth-creature's eyes are closed and they are smiling. They are wearing a black T-shirt with different pride pins on it, which include:
A heart-shaped demi-romantic pin, a round pansexual pin, an alien-head shaped nonbinary pin, and a trans pin shaped like a death's head-moth.

It's still Wednesday here, so happy #WIPWednesday A few people already know that I'm working on a game for #Yaoijam2025 but I figured I ought to post about it here, too! Starting with showing off the busts and walk sprites for the main characters of my upcoming game Dev. log link is down below

A pale young man with fluffy, chin-length silver hair stands with his left hand (the viewer's right) on his hip.

His outfit is comprised of a thick black choker with metal spikes on it, as well as a grey cropped tank-top, black fishnet arm warmers, and dark grey trousers held up with a black belt.

The artist's signature rests at the bottom right corner.

A pale young man with chest-length, brown hair stands with his arms crossed over his chest.

Since I ended up missing my chance to draw an anniversary fan art for #emeraldwasp last year, I managed to make one this year! The lines are still a bit rough and it needs to be colored, but happy 2nd anniversary to a RPGMaker Horror game that I love!

An image drawn to look like a picture taken with a polaroid instant camera.

Two men, Archie and Leon from the game Emerald Wasp, stand next to each other over a pale blue background.
Archie, the taller man, has an arm around Leon's shoulder and his other arm is up with his hand held in a peace sign.
Leon has an exasperated expression while Archie is grinning with his eyes closed.

Below the men is text that reads
April 5th 2025 Happy 2nd anniversary to Emerald Wasp!
Beside that text is the artist's signature.
