Asked on tumblr if I had any Cloverhoney fics, and while some have been gifted privately, I'm obsessed with this one that my friend @cryogenosis.bsky.social wrote so I wanna reup it 🩷 It's so very sweet I was kicking my feet constantly archiveofourown.org/works/63594829 (based a little on these 🐟)

This is funny in retrospect because I ended up writing 3 rookanis fics in the span of like a month

I like changing up the writing style because i feel like it keeps everything fresh, especially when you start breaking 100k words on a fic. So I had this planned. But. The timing. THE TIMING

Trying to beef up the backlog of chapters before I go into gremlin mode for the dragon age launch and OF COURSE I picked the most complicated way to present the next ~6 chapters that’s making this incredibly (fun) difficult

I posted a chapter last Friday I think??? But posting another on Sunday :) (because fridays was basically just smut heh)

I am my own worst critic and only like 10 ppl are gonna read it anyway

100

cryogenosis @cryogenosis.bsky.social · 09/10/2024

I need to move on with this chapter so I can finish the fucking story bro LOL there’s so much plot development literally immediately after but the degenerate in me wanted to put a smut dose before all that

100

cryogenosis @cryogenosis.bsky.social · 09/10/2024

Okay it’s spicy but I’m also struggling like damn. Been looking at the same 5k words for over a month and keep wanting to tweak shit. I think I’m just gonna say fuck it and post…

cryogenosis @cryogenosis.bsky.social · 26/09/2024

I think I am invoking the rain outside my house every time I write the upcoming smut chapter, which is super eerie because the chapter also takes place during a summer storm

cryogenosis @cryogenosis.bsky.social · 11/06/2024

Ya boy is Dragon Age pilled and the prognosis appears to be terminal

000

cryogenosis @cryogenosis.bsky.social · 05/06/2024

i literally just wrote this chapter like two weeks ago....

000

cryogenosis @cryogenosis.bsky.social · 28/05/2024

Yet Étienne is this really physically intimidating 7ft tall cleric of the in-world god on a crusade to find his best friend Théo, who my DM made the most annoying unlikeable idiot (affectionate) that is already at odds with the party. My dumbass cleric like “guys be nice he’s my best friend🥺” STUPID

000

cryogenosis @cryogenosis.bsky.social · 28/05/2024

It’s also insanely funny to me that my DM essentially put the label of Group Dad on my character (which I fully accept and embrace) when demidritches have extremely short maturation periods and lifespans. So he’s really just a little guy who’s only been alive for like 12 years total

100

cryogenosis @cryogenosis.bsky.social · 28/05/2024

His friend is a tiefling paladin name Théo, and they grew up in the church together and eventually became field partners. Théo disappeared and after a real life YEAR of playing and trying to find him, we finally did. I gave my DM full reign over his personality and history and he really came through

We haven’t had dnd in like 3 weeks and I’m going feral for the conclusion of this arc. We are playing the Steinhardt’s module, which is a Bloodborne-esque kickstarter. My player character is the cleric Étienne and he’s basically the space eldritch version of an aasimar called a nebulare demidritch
