"This cutting-edge piece of autonomous magitek is programmed to ruthlessly slaughter whomsoever it determines to be "the enemy." Alas, it is not particularly discriminating in said determination, making it difficult and likely unwise to retrieve in an operational state."

Inspiration from the Ishgard artbooks! Wanted to try and recreate the scene of the 'big boss-type paissa'.

"This exceptionally large paissa has sired no less than eight offspring, and in order to earn the coin to rear them, it chose to work as an adventurer's mount. By taking it into your service, you are supporting its adorable brood."

"The jewel bearers are the worst of the lot. If they see anything shiny, they just can't leave it alone. Sometimes they'll pluck the heads off the sentries and run away with them!"

"Ehll Tou wished to learn the ways of men, that she might one day fill the skies with a new song that will be sung by all. She eventually made her way to Ishgard, and while learning of its history, discovered the one inalienable difference between man and dragon—a love of crafting."

"While it was programmed to go about its task with a smile and a song, a flood of contradictory work orders served to muddle its definition of happiness. It began digging into the moon's surface with baffling fervor, filling it with more holes than the most formidable of cheeses."

"The wyrms born would grow into Hraesvelgr, Nidhogg, Ratatoskr, Bahamut, Tiamat, Azdaja, and Vrtra─beings of immense power and majesty. The seven then scattered to the far reaches of the world, there to spawn broods of their own, and thus did the dragons become legion."

"Should a particularly tenacious seed, such as that of a sabotender, be ferried moonward within such ejecta, one could imagine it finding means to grow and thrive within its strange new environment. Sharlyan's one and only xenobiologist certainly does."

"Sin eaters are not alive. They have no vital functions, and thus do not grow or age. When suffering serious injury, however, a sin eater will instead attempt to kill the nearest living creature, in what is thought to be a last-ditch effort to absorb the aether released in death."

"The birdlike iksalions proved remarkably intelligent constructs and were thus employed by Allagan engineers to perform maintenance tasks. The offspring of these creatures would eventually evolve over the next four millennia to become the Ixal—a fact of which none of their tribe remains aware."
