thinking about the popularity of so many "redraw trends" and plagiarism of compositions by all sorts of artists (it comes up often for gposing but 2D artists do it too). i have to sum up my discomfort with it as follows: it's artists treating other artists the same way A/I treats art as data

Meet Silas Styx!! he is one of my beloved dnd blorbos- a classic nobleman with a huge family and a bit of a bratty attitude. this particular painting of him has been in my WIPs for a looong time, but im glad to finally get it done!

Silas Styx, a vibrant blue tiefling man, sits in a garden wearing only a golden sash. he has the wings and tail of a bone devil. the wings are papery with dark veins like an insect, and there are 6 total. his tail is boney with dark spines protruding from each unit. the end of his tail is like a scorpion. he has long silver hair and black horns that go straight up and curl at the end. to each side of him there are hydrangea bushes rendered in a loose painted style. behind him is a small pond with a few trees and a clear blue sky. the entire picture has an ivory frame with gold accents, and golden daggers in each corner.

finally finished my last character ref for this year!! I have many more characters, but not enough time in one month to make ref sheets for them all!! he is up on my artfight (@/crusticle) with backstory if youd like to take a gander! #artfight #teamcomedy #characterref

a character reference sheet of a fire demon. he is a thin muscular man with firey hair and brown skin that gets darker at the ends of his limbs. he is shown with 3 expressions- when he is excited fire creates cracks in his form around his eyes and mouth, his sclera turns black and his hair to pure fire. the second shows him smiling smugly towards the viewer. the third expression shows him bored and looking away. in the middle his true form is shown as 3 teardrop shaped red hot stones arranged in a circle surrounded by black smoke. the top description says his name and some other stuff- "Javu, 6th layer fire demon, chaos incarnate, He/they, Pansexual. he is 5 foot 6 inches tall.

a while elf man wearing gold embroidered adventure gear is standing in the woods looking around. he has his right hand and foot resting casually on a tree beside him while he uses his left hand to shield his eyes from the sunlight. there is a small stream running on his left, and bright sunlight shines from behind him.

#TWblood I guess it falls in spirit for #makeabadcomicday2025 This is a story I am still putting together, but this is a scene I really look forward to doing! This is March's turning point, right at the beginning. the plot is so far from finished- I only have little moments like this so far!

A comic page featuring a man who becomes a werewolf. The first panel in the top right shows a man with dark hair and a labcoat (his name is march) holding a syringe. he says "It's Done." the next panel shows March's exposed arm as he injects the red serum into his veins. his veins are red, and his hair bristles as the change begins. the text above this reads "But after all you've done...". The next panel reads: "I'm not sharing." It shows march, now in werewolf form, shoving a man to the side by the head. his claws are dug in and there is blood swishing from the motion.

QRP with some #Vampires! I never finished this one, but here is Dante and Baron from a scene that has been left behind by my current cannon TuT They are Vampires and brothers and I love them very much XD

Meet March! he is a #werewolf oc of mine, and as you can see he is traumatized. TW blood- it was actually fun once i found a way to paint it decently. He is part of the same story as Baron- who showed in an earlier post of mine!

a painting of a white man with dark brown hair (his name is March) looking traumatized towards the viewer. he is covered in hair and blood, and holding open a door that also has blood spatters on it. the man is really hairy with golden eyes and he has a pointed ear indicating he is a werewolf. there is blood on his hip, his right cheek and on both arms. a warm light shines on him above, and into the darkness beyond the door. the door also has tally marks scratched into it, indicating the man has been here a long time.

A character im making for @cr0wther.bsky.social's Upcoming #Dnd campaign! His name is Teneca, and hes gonna be based on Native American culture! Circle of stars #Druid

A man with sparkly tan skin is crouching in a clearing. He is wearing beige pants with fringes on the sides and tan moccasins with a white and blue beaded pattern on the top. He wears an orange fox pelt around his shoulders and he is holding a Staff with a handle made of the same material as his pants, with some fox fur at the edges. 2 feathers and some blue beads dangle from just below the handle. the man is looking forward with an intense expression. he has green eyes and deep brown/almost black hair. The woods and clearing around him are in greyscale.

The same man from the image before on the same greyscale background. This time, he has purple skin and a star at each of his joints. This is his special feature for his subclass!

A thin elven man is standing, holding his phone in his left hand and holding an earbud out of his ear with his right. He is wearing shiny black boots, ripped black jeans, and a large black jacket with white ribbons made to look like a ribcage. he has 3 spike piercings on the outside edge of both ears. he is looking to the left. the background is just white

Sometimes I make #origami boxes and #Decorate them with #patterns- here are 2 of my favorites!

An origami box with a star pattern. The background ir purple, with starbursts in the corners and middles of the sides, and one more starburst in the middle of the top. the bursts on the corners have a white and orange center, followed by a purple and white halo, and then spires protruding from them that gradient from pink to orange. the bursts in the middle and on the sides have purple centers, and orange to pink spires alternating with light purple to blue spires. on the sides there are many small purple stars.

A celestial/heaven themed origami box. in the middle of the top, 8 wings form a circle around a light blue eye. there is a light blue halo of light around the wings. in the corners, there are yellow and orange stars within small bue circles. rays of light shine over the sides of the box in yellow and orange, and there is a gold band with many eyes around all the sides. in the center of the band over the sides there is one big eye similar to the one on the top of the box.

The top of the star themed box, A starburst sits in the middle with a deep purple center, orange halo, and orange to pink spires of light. around it are the bursts described before. there are smaller stars in the blank areas that have thin white borders.

The side of the celestial themed box. Rays of light come from the corners and weave with the golden band of eyes around the side. one light blue eye stares from the center of the box.

The party for the game I run! tonight they decided to travel down a river in style! #dnd #river #digitalart #riverfloating #lazyriver #dndparty #tiefling #swimsuits

there are 3 figures on inflatable rafts in a river with grassy banks. The closest figure is a woman with pale pink skin, black horns, and a tattoo of a black sun on her shoulder. she is floating on a raft that looks like a lemon slice. The figure behind her is a man with black hair and elf ears, he has his arms crossed. he is floating on a flamingo themed raft. in the back, there is a man with cat ears, and black and white hair split down the middle. he is not wearing a shirt and leaning back looking to the sky. he is riding a float that looks like a chocolate doughnut with rainbow sprinkles.

New to bluesky, so bear with me. This is my dnd character Mordai- a tiefling barbarian. I made this like a year ago, but I'm still proud of it! #Art #digitalart #tiefling #dnd #rainynight

A Muscular purple Man with Horns like a bull and red eyes stands in the foreground drawing a great sword with a red hilt. there is a glowing wisp floating just above his shoulder. It is a rainy night on a modern street, and behind him we see a shadowy figure with eyes that glow like headlights.
