I thought the dishwasher was faulty when I was drinking my coffee and it tasted of bitter baked beans. I made a new one in a rinsed cup and it was still bitter so I tried cutting the bitterness with more and more milk. I take a sniff of the milk. Oh my god. Sour. So sour.

New patch I’m rather proud of. Dedicated to my favourite album from one of my favourite bands, Bikeride!! (I hope the members would be ok with me making this. I wouldn’t know who to ask.)

A hand-made patch, painted in acrylic and fabric paint to replicate an album cover.
It has red curtains which are opened to reveal an otter and a scorpion, drawn in purple and orange biro, on a yellow back ground.
Above the curtains, the band’s name, “Bikeride” is written in a serif font in capitals on what was supposed to be a scroll but looks more like a banner because my art supplies were running out. To the side of the banner is a blue blob, which I had all the intentions to look like a mirror, but yeah it’s a blob which reads the album name ‘The Kiss.’
The patch is sewn with blue thread onto the back of a dark-blue denim vest.
