This is Lore It is a two oscillator fm synth. It makes sounds. Shimmering sounds, gentle sounds, modem login sounds. All kinds of sounds. It’s available now crowselectromusic.com/products/lore/

A photo of my new synth, Lore, on a wet gravel background. It is a small square with sliders and knobs in a transparent-green bioplastic case with two white cables coming out the back.

I’ve been building a cute little interactive FM synthesis explainer, using Tone.js and alpine.js. Fun! It will go live when my next synth launches. I found a 12 year old js oscilloscope package that still worked! Freshened it up a little, if you also have need of a ‘scope github.com/crowselectro...

My synths are made in Canada. Looks like starting tomorrow they’re gonna cost 25% more for americans? So dumb.

This is OVUM, a five voice analog synthesizer, handmade by me in Vancouver, Canada. Specifically designed for sound exploration, drones, and ambient textures.

Now that I’ve repaired my lil’ erebus module, this guy feels a little redundant. It’s a beautiful synth, in sound and in form, but I never clicked with it. But if you want a small and streamlined semi-modular minimoog - this is probably the synth for you!

In 2018 and 2019 I bought two diy kit eurorack modules, painstakingly put them together, and they both never worked. Today I make synths full time, and I finally dug the two modules out and quickly got them working. It’s very cool to look back at being a beginner, and see how different you’ve become

A modular synthesizer, with two large modules at the top: dreadbox antiphon, and dreadbox lil’ erebus.
