💎: *looks directly at Mecha Madness issue where Sally was 100% flirting with Knuckles at one point.*

💎: I say no situationships like I don't ship Sonally when they keep trying to bait one another into admitting they got fee fees doe each other. Yes I am a hypocrite. I will do it again.

And tbh *most* Sonic characters are *not* lacking when it comes to images of them for icon-able material so- seems silly to even need to use other art in the first place unless you write something like an EXE where all the content *is* fan generated.

💎: Oh I do. I'm just saying the reason I don't use fanart is because of this exact problem where you might *find* cool art but even an image traceback search engine can't find the original artist. Plus- Archie has like 300 issues so there is no drought on images of my muses too.

💎: This is why on all my pinned I say my icons only use stuff from officially licensed material of my muses and not fanart. Easy traceback and credits given in source material to all artists.

💎: Mkay. Now to lock in and just spoil the plot (tragicstripes you are not allowed to read the carrd. I forbid you as someone involved in the plot).

💎: God I'm really going to just reveal that whole plot now... It was a good idea, but since it won't be on bsky now I'm just giddy being able to reveal it all on this flipped account. Gif shockingly relevant.

. . . Fingers fold at the rubber's edge, then, pushing to draw herself forward. This would not be Sally's end, merely the rough beginnings to again take back what was lost. Just like old times…well, almost. > [ Sally Acorn has been added to your party.] > [CONTINUE ?] ✅️

His denialism. His stubbornness. Even the way his body slouched with that sickly look was imprinted onto his next of kin, and like him it had not stopped her. For if it was not herself, then who among them would carry the burden to repair all that had been lost when the Doctor was gone?

Each step forward tugging tubes and wires off, letting them fall where they may. Until finally, the digital pulse became an obnoxious, unending hum. Her form collapses in on itself just in time to be caught by a lone wheelchair left nearby. A mirror image of the previous king left in her wake.

Half-bent over, shaking. Vertigo, wavering, but Sally refused to fall. A slow rise, billowing back up to stand tall, mighty. Then, one foot in front of the other like a wooden doll. Clunkly, awkward. Hands using any surface to cling to as a safeguard for herself from the glistening floor below.

A slow scan across the stark, brightly lit room. Maddening in its intense light, yet allowing the princess the means to easily find her means of escape. All it would take is one small push… Paws to hit the ground with a light thud. Knees buckling momentarily as her digits clung to the railing.

That in due time, *he'd* return and demand his petty reward for finishing what she had started when mechanized. It was all just a matter of time. Time she was wasting by staring at that small snippet of hallway just beyond the door. Ocean eyes snapping away from the exit.

All of it accentuated by the taste of *him* still in her mouth. The sensation imprinted onto her lips an inner cheek alike. Warm, strangely fuzzy in a way that left her stomach in a knot. A reminder that he would come back.

But someone else's will. Yet the burden remained hers alone. Accountability dangling just above the crown of her head, ready to push her right back down into the dirt the moment she found herself climbing out of the hole she'd been left to rot in.

An agonizing guilt not just for her people, but further weighted by her actions tnat destroyed the people Sally loved. Family, friends. Her mechanized mark left scars behind that would not ever fully mend, just pains that would eventually numb out. Actions done with her mind and body not of her own.

Dread, yet understanding now why her father had always denied to rest when he was in dire straits. A burning passion deep within that remained dutiful to her subjects, now more than ever with the sins she carried upon her back.
