DS9 the difference really was that Worf had other Klingons to interact with and other non-humans too which gave less jarring distinction between his culture to those around him since more of them were non human too

UC also takes place like 70 years before TNG tbf, but TNG always had a difficult time with Klingons in it, besides some few good episodes like a matter of honor, sins of the father or rightful heir, the Klingon plots were often too out of place or made too much for the human POV lol

TNG doesn’t have a lot of non-double episodes that connect directly like BoBW and Family, these are such powerful couple of episodes, probably a lot better today that I’m in my 30s lol

Some of the times that I've drawn Gowron with the chancellor's robe I generally just mix and match the medals because it's impossible to find a reliable source for what the medals even mean

That's probably more likely to what it is, it's hard to say because we only have two Chancellors who wore it any significant amount of time, but I do believe that's probably more so what it is, and Korrd is such an anomaly to be wearing it at all I try not to think about it too much lmao

They could have embellished them some more like the movies for sure, but that could be said for all the series tbh! None of the shows do much for it, and tbh I’d argue Enterprise does more for it than DS9 did, DS9 if anything made them less varied than TNG or ENT

I think for the sake of consistency it makes perfect sense that they would look like their later versions since Enterprise “explains” what happened to them during TOS, in Enterprise actually they usually wear a lot of different outfits, they are more leather-y/hunter-y looks which I thought was fun

True!! The level of production for these background extras in all of the TOS movies were amazing, one of my favorite ever shots is that crew shot during the briefing in the motion picture, makes me emotional idk
