To be honest, this is the type of ending I thought we were going to get. It fits much better with the source material, Jesus and his quest to find the lady actually matter, there is none of the bleakness of the original ending, but with the same message of caring about humanity.

As a person who hates heels, dresses and basically everything to do with weddings, I feel you. If that's a possibility for you, I'd try to go for a suit/jumpsuit and no heels, you can still look fancy and not obviously gender nonconforming and it makes a lot of difference (at least it did for me)
