Just in case you didn’t know, here are the current child labor laws (Federally). The only way a child under 14 can work is with a newspaper route, babysitting or helping out at their family business as long as it isn’t in one of the dangerous positions like meat packing, etc.

These two have a contentious relationship. Zuul (cat) is afraid of dogs due to dog-related trauma when she was young. Max (dog) just wants to snuggle. Lately, they’ve been sleeping/hanging out unprompted and seem to be becoming friends (hope!)
