iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

7) The long short is this: I will be leaving social media while keeping everything intact. I will be publishing my work on portfolio sites as mentioned above. Finally i will be on twitch "periodically" to work on my own projects.

6) I know that this is something that is out of my control and had nothing to do with my work or person, but i have somehow managed to take it personally anyway. So, I think it is time to leave for my own sanity, and knowing that the internet is not a place i wish to inhabit currently.

5) With admission to my own bitterness as well in these platforms that I was not able to bring my work to a wider audience. It has led me to think (true or not) that my work is not valued by a wider spectrum of people.

4) As an artist that puts in the work only to receive little in return with my own investments it is my best interest to stop chasing numerical gain. Thusly, I will take a more focused approach in my efforts with my own work.

3) It is also the fact that success on these platforms is much more difficult to achieve and uphold. As a result of that fact, I find myself hyper-focusing on the numbers as opposed to my work itself i.e. "is this going to get likes/views?"

2) and i will still be publishing my artwork on dedicated portfolio sites, such as Artstation and Cara. It has come to my attention over the course of some months that these platforms are nothing but a time suck, and give little in regard to substance.

1) I believe it is time to render myself away from social media as a whole. I assure you that nothing bad or terrible has happened and everything is great. This of course does not mean i will delete all of the content on all of the platforms i reside in,

Definitely influenced heavily by Pearsall and others at the pear gallery. However, with the exception of Seage and a couple others; I dont have any other friends that are artists. Even less so that are into the more macabre side of art.

I am starting to lean more towards the dark fantasy and grotesque in my work. I don't know why that is, but i feel more comfortable with it. Instead of trying something super pretty and polished. Maybe the souls games ive played over the decade and a half has had an effect on me.

I am aware that depending on the convention should determine which artwork to use. I am just starting out and am still in the planning stage so I am staying local to my area. C2E2 and Anime Central are the big ones here. im going to try smaller conventions too to see how they go.

I have a question for the convention/exhibiter community. I have 19 pieces of artwork I can use for posters and prints. Question 1) How many copies should I make? 2) Should I limit the number of pieces I have to a select few? 3) Should I do poster sizes or stick to 12"x18"?

Eric Draven. I have seen other paintings similar to this so I had to get out of my head. It not exactly how i want it but its a good start for a sketch. #thecrow

Another Hellavaboss piece. These have been a fun experience and a true test of my speed and knowledge. These are suppose to be quick and "usually" done in one sit down seasion. The challenge was more difficult because of the perspective. #blitzohelluvaboss #helluvaboss #fyp #fanart #blitzø
