i know when a post is flagged as nsfw and its being filtered for that reason the posts dont show up at all in any capacity… this feels like a weird secret third thing

it happens whether im using a vpn or not and makes posts that are clearly photo posts look like theyre just text posts. this has been baffling me for two months now

does anyone know why perfectly sfw images would just Not Show Up on someones feed here. its not like the posts arent showing up at all, its that i keep seeing posts that clearly have an image attached (ie someone sharing their con catalogue) and only seeing the text of the post?

i really liked the frog :) all of the live reptiles/amphibians were getting fed at the time, it was cute to see how excited their caretaker was about them

i went to a nature reserve last week after an appointment and did some quick drawings of the building/taxidermies/live specimens/cool dunkleosteus replica { #finsketches #lifedrawing #animals }

a sketchbook page with an assortment of sketches, including a sketch of a pocket door room divider with a giant faux tree behind it and a built in bookshelf that extends closer to the viewer, a little live tree frog with its legs tucked beneath it perched on a faux rock, a turkey taxidermy, a live river cooter, a live jefferson salamander, a live painted turtle, and a replica dunkleosteus head. the sketches are all done in red ballpoint pen ink and some are further refined in black

i dont know why but i started thinking about visual novels… so i spent a few minutes blocking this out yesterday for fun. i have to find my design sketches for the athletic club bc itd be fun to make a more thought out mock up!! { #dgts #finnfflannidan #fallonfflannidan #finocs #finsketches }

rough sketch of my ocs from my comic dark grows the sun as if they were in a visual novel. on the right is finn, a half elf with long curly hair wearing an oversized cardigan and nervously clutching a bag strap. beside him is his twin fallon, who is much taller than him and only wearing a pair of boxers with a sash around his waist. hes bruised and bloodied and rubbing his head. the background is a very roughly blocked in turn of the century athletic club from the perspective of a boxing ring. a text box over all of this says
“FINN
It’s that elf guy again…”

You should be asking why Rockstar gets to do this and doesn't run into any issues with payment processors, while the rest of anyone drawing or writing "explicit content" on any platform have so much trouble getting paid

Konstantin got turned last session 🩸 #curseofstrahd

a man with curly black hair, red eyes and fanged teeth has a shocked expression on his face. his shoulders and half his face are cut off by the frame, only showing half of his shocked face. there's woobly wiggly lines in white and grey next to him, framing a small gathering of white figures around a white, bleeding body (the resurrection in the midst of a vampire transformation)
A small hungarian inspired gravestone plate next to it has the DM's quote "You take your first and final breath." quote inscribed on it. dhampir time!!!!!
