( it just doesn't seem like the right fit. he's still touching zack's muscles, it'd be stupid to be sad right now. ) ( his expression turns into a smirk. ) you ever been chocobo racing before? did that to get out of prison, one time...

stories? ( cloud looks up at zack's expression, a bit unsure of himself... ) i uh... ( he's already mixed things up in his own story once before... nothing can ever fix that. ) ( ... but maybe, recounting something newer might help. something lighter, maybe? being moody... ) ++

( ... the fact that zack is letting him do this feels a little crazy. but he doesn't exactly want this to stop, either... touching him like this... ) ( ... it feels so real, doesn't it? ) ( cloud blushes a little pink, he knows what zack meant, but it felt a little embarrassing... ) ++

E-eh...? ( he blinks, and before he knows it, the gentle touch of aerith snapped him out of his daze. what was he even thinking, again? ) ( was he apprehensive before? oh, he doesn't know what to say now. he tries to respond to aerith first, scooching closer to her. ) N-no, nothing, I mean... ++

cloud . @crossxslash.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

( shuffling over to him, it really puts into perspective how small he is compared to zack... and staring at his arms... ) ( he feels like a wet noodle compared to him. definitely not straight, that's for sure. ) Uh... Like... ... ( nervously touching his hand down onto zack's bicep. ) This? ++

cloud . @crossxslash.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

Um ( closing his eyes. how the fuck does he respond to this. opening his eyes again. ) Y. Yeah! Sure. ( saying that with more enthusiasm than he thought he had for it )
