The company that bought MagicJack just bought Sangoma. Same money-making playbook, and it's not great news if you're running FreePBX.

Your 5G backup Internet needs a static WAN IP to be a true failover. Crosstalk Mobile 5G Unlimited SIMs have a static IP option for $5/month.

Peplink 5G adapter comes with a free 1GB eSIM - but when you add a real 5G SIM, you'll need to change SIM priority. Here's how to do that.

Following up on emergency network deployments at disaster sites. Medical tents, distribution centers, and one mysteriously empty tent with missing equipment. Real field work looks messy.

Down in Pine Island setting up WiFi for hurricane survivors. Getting people back online to file FEMA forms and contact family. Sometimes tech can actually help.

Set up emergency WiFi for disaster relief workers—free access, bandwidth limited to 5 megs, no streaming. Sometimes the simplest networks are the most important ones.

Nomad Internet bought Verizon SIMs they weren't allowed to resell, used fake identities to avoid detection, and when Verizon found out they throttled all their customers to nothing. Gray market SIMs are a real problem.

Yes, Crosstalk Mobile SIMs work with the UniFi 5G Max. 475 Mbps in my window, up to 800 in some spots. Setup is stupid simple — plug in, adopt, done.

UniFi's new Cloud Gateway Industrial can power a Starlink dish directly from its 10 gig PoE++ WAN port. No Starlink injector needed. I ordered one to test it myself. If this works as advertised, it's a game changer for remote deployments.
