I had a Pilates instructor tell me I could fix my shitty feet through exercise & shoes where I can feel the ground. I didn’t go back for another lesson with that instructor.

A left foot with a protracted bunion and unnaturally shortened/elongated toes due to a broken 4th metatarsal from 2012. What you can’t see is the flatness underneath which causes the foot owner to feel like they are walking on sharpness much of the time. Every podiatrist this foot owner has met, asks when they are getting surgery. The foot owner cannot even wear most shoes because of the rubbing. Thank goodness for those T-strap Birks.

The right foot isn’t much better.

Flowering tea poured in a Turkish teacup, with instructions for a small safe lying on the table in the background, because the drinker finally had the team bring the safe to her house which should have been done a month ago, but she didn’t prioritize it because there were other things going on.
