Beloved for many reasons Lord of the Rings is a time honored classic. What better way to honor his work than by nerding out about his conlangs? youtu.be/sKDUEcV60OI #crossingscon #youngwizards #literaryconvention #bookconvention #speculativefiction #scificonvention #fantasyconvention

This journey has caused CrossingsCon to come into existence, which brought us all together, and that is a joy beyond compare. We'll have all manner of announcements coming up here in the next few weeks.

Well met on the journey! Cousins, we love all the interesting panels, the fun and games, and the chance to add to our unending to-read list, but by far the best part of Con is seeing all of you. So it's fitting that next con's theme is "Well met on the journey."

A stepping stone design showing greenery, a stone archway, and a campfire. The top reads "CrossingsCon August 14-15, 2027 Hampton Inn Philadelphia PA". The middle reads "Well met on the journey". The bottom reads "#CrossingsCon2027 crossingscon.org"

Ten years ago, the first ever CrossingsCon took place in Newark, NJ from June 24-26, 2016. We started just planning a meetup at another con, and look at us now! Ten years of memories, five in person conventions (and one virtual one), and more friends than we can count!

Since it's so hot, a movie night sounds pretty good. And since it's pride month, it should be a queer movie, right? Leave your suggestions below! #crossingscon #youngwizards #literaryconvention #bookconvention #speculativefiction #scificonvention #fantasyconvention

What kind of weapon would you use against zombies, assuming that they are attracted by noise? For me, I'm leaning towards a rapier or a spear or other kind of polearm. #crossingscon #youngwizards #literaryconvention #bookconvention #speculativefiction #scificonvention #fantasyconvention

Captioning is a difficult and time-consuming process, and trying to handle things in-house has just resulted in many CrossingsCon videos being inaccessible for years—either viewable, but with only YouTube's auto-captions, or not on our YT at all, neither of which is a satisfactory state of affairs.

CrossingsCon is officially transitioning to a community captioning model in hopes of being able to provide high-quality captions on our videos in a more timely manner! (1/)

It’s that time of the year where our Con or Bust applications have massively outstripped our resources to support them. We have some great opportunities to send folks of colour to life changing opportunities. Help make that happen. Donate today! dreamfoundry.org/con...
