Former Timberline family here, guardians for our grandniece in 2022. Her sobs at night kept me probing what had hurt her. Although she never told me the full story, her assault happened at the school parking lot. She got help and protection from pregnancy then and graduated. Rape culture alive.

#kincare #opioidsaftermath Our grandniece (lft) adores her uncle. His niece (rt) alerted us 12 years ago that grandniece's parents were both going to be incarcerated for drug related crimes. We sued them both and became guardians for grandniece entering the world of families who provide kin care.
