Crona v1.9.0 is now stable 🎉 Alongside it, the new native macOS companion has reached v1.0.0 — bringing your current focus, timers and controls right into the menu bar. Still local-first. Still terminal-first. Still no accounts or cloud required. crona.work github.com/webxsid/crona

Crona has grown quite a bit since I made the original website, and the design was starting to feel left behind. Spent some time rebuilding the visual identity to better match the product. New website, new logo. Same local tracker. crona.work

Built myself a terminal-first, local-first work tracker because every other one eventually became another chore. Go + Bubble Tea + SQLite No accounts. No cloud. Just a keyboard and a terminal. It’s been my daily driver for the past few months. Curious what other TUI folks think.

A small milestone for Crona today. The latest stable release is available via homebrew for Mac and Linux distros. Winget coming up soon for windows

My biggest regret with Crona so far is opting for direct curl script installation rather than a package manager. Well that is changing with the upcoming releases. The new beta already works on brew, more coming up soon.

As a developer my day starts and ends in a terminal. But every time I wanted to track my work, I had to switch into a completely different world of browsers, dashboards, and GUI-heavy productivity apps. So I built Crona, a local-first work tracker that lives in the terminal. crona.work

Another weekend, another feature shipped to Crona. Momentum is now a first-class entity with dedicated visuals for tracking consistency at a glance. Check out the latest release: crona.work

Screenshot of Crona, a terminal-based local-first work tracker, displaying the Momentum view inside a macOS terminal window. The interface uses a dark theme with teal accents and a left-hand navigation sidebar. Three momentum cards are visible: “Training Week,” “Wellbeing Month,” and “Recovery Mix.” Each card shows linked habits, target completion goals, current and best streaks, and historical performance across weekly or monthly buckets. Visual progress bars use green to indicate targets met and red to indicate missed periods, providing an at-a-glance view of consistency over time. The terminal window is centered against a blurred gradient desktop background
