Reading 90s Batman makes me never want to hear anyone bitch about Snyder or Tynion's dialogue.

I may have retail therapy'd a little too much on comic books today...

Excited to see some monsters getting ripped apart! Is it weird to say I'm glad the Legendary movies aren't the first ones to earn the R rating for a Godzilla movie?

I really wanna know what the fuck is going on with advertising. How many eyes had to see and approve this before it got posted? There wasn't a single person that looked at this and asked why it looked like a lynching during the approval process? C'mon....

Dislocating my shoulder at the company softball game was not how I thought I'd embarrass myself today.

I'm a couple hours in to Wolverine and the acting and delivery is stellar but the combat feels like a cheap copy paste of Spider-Man's. I also think it being released so close to Onimusha spoiled me for combat.

Sometimes I forget model wise there's more than just Gundams and cars. I am looking at Star Trek models and I really need to watch some reviews for the 1701-D and Cerritos.

I've played the Onimusha demo several times because the combat is so crisp. I'm so ready for it to release on Friday.

Coyote vs Acme was excellent! It was a love letter to the Looney Tunes while being a decent parody of courtroom drama

My face when I'm on the phone with a prospective student and I hear our ignorant af secretary bitching about Ms Rachel out of the blue. It is never controversial for a children's educator to speak up about the fucked up celebration and funding of things that kill children. Specifically Palestine rn

I'm almost done Dungeon Crawler book 3. And while I'm very invested, it feels like there's the tendency to like bandaid rip fucked up information about the characters for shock value with lower emotional payoff dividends.

000

Ethan @criticalsnail.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

I think after Dungeon Anarchist's Cookbook I need to break and go back to Discworld. 14 books left and I'm going to be so damn sad when it all ends.

Before I say more...like any comics person I'll complain till the cows come home so take it with however much salt. Spiderman was aiight. Sadie Sink was the standout.
