On the + side, these people are self-selecting out of the gene pool / removing their children from it. That means less competition in the marketplace for jobs. It's still a tragedy. These kids have no choice. Maybe if parents were caretakers and providers instead of owners, things might be different

Carl Sagan noticed that small children are inquisitive, but teens weren't. If capitalists could beat curiosity and imagination out of kids faster, education would be less than 12 years. Or get rid of childlabor laws and solve the childcare at work problem with corporate-sponsored families.

One would hope that MAGAts learn from this, but it is always the wrong lesson. Fear necessecitates manufacturing imaginary problems, finding it everywhere, blaming the uninvolved, and applying the wrong solutions. Below poverty wages and rising prices are the new norm, and blaming immigrants.

They should ban Catcher in the Rye, if they haven't already. That book was absolute shit. A mediocre underachiever who does less than nothing is disillusioned with a fake world. Anne Frank's Diary makes people recoil from war. Catcher inspire young men to recoil from society and write manifestos.

The NHS has problems, but we didn't go brankrupt after a cancer diagnosis. 66% of all US bankruptcies are from runaway medical costs. Too many people have to choose between death and bankruptcy. The US has the highest medical costs for mediocre results. #MedicalDarwinism

Growing up w/ christianity, the only people less empathetic than christians is psychopaths. Who else can tear a person to shreds and follow up with "Jesus loves you" or "God bless you"? Remember, sin is "anything I don't like." Just as calling your family when you're held hostage is a "felony."

Antisemitism is a problem. Weaponizing it for political gain dilutes the value of it. When legitimate complaints against Israel are automatically deemed antisemitism, the word has no value. Ironically, Holocaust deniers, conspiracy nutjobs and Jew haters overlap a lot and are primarily conservative.
