Whenever I’m asked for a reason why I’m unsubscribing, I reply… Make a handful of donations years ago & get hounded for every race under the sun for the rest of your life. There has to be a better way. I know it probably doesn’t make any sort of difference, but it feels better typing it

So... as a point of reference, how will/does this compare to Hilary from a few years ago? Impact, intensity?

So in 08/09, we lost everything. The wife got into couponing bigtime to stretch the budget. She’d get jealous of ads advertising dirt cheap milk, eggs, etc. in places like Idaho, Iowa, Mississippi. I was like, yeah, but then you gotta live there. Let’s pay the California Ccost of living tax instead.

On #WorldSightDay, remember that each person living with blindness experiences it a different way: different levels of vision, different ways to navigate, different tools to live safely and confidently. Today, and every day, be kind. Don't assume. Be an ally in the #BlindNewWorld.

There’s a new ICE surge happening in the Greater Los Angeles Area now. At least 20 people have been taken by noon in Southern California, numbers we haven’t seen in a long time. @lataco.bsky.social

Frats are just preppy gangs. The only thing they don’t do is the blood in – blood out thing. Initiations/bonding rituals, a home base, drugs, drinking, color schemes engage in shady if not outright illegal activities…

Went with the wife to check out some planes today.

A twin engine North American Rockwell OV-10 Bronco aircraft in flight against a clear blue sky. The aircraft is light gray with two propellers, one on each wing, both spinning and creating a blurred effect at the tips. The fuselage has a tandem, two‑seat cockpit with a clear canopy; two crew members are visible inside wearing helmets. Under each wing and along the underside of the fuselage, there are multiple hardpoints and pylons with various pods and stores attached, giving it an armed or mission‑equipped appearance. The nose is slightly pointed with a small probe extending forward. On the tail, “UM” is marked in black letters with the number “55474” above and a red circular emblem with a black figure inside it. Along the rear fuselage near the tail, “N16654 NAVY” is written in dark letters, along with a small U.S. Navy roundel. The wings are straight and fairly broad, and the landing gear is retracted, with the aircraft seen from a low, slightly rearward angle as it banks.

A twin-engine, twin-boom North American Rockwell OV – 10 bronco aircraft flying against a clear blue sky, viewed from directly below. The aircraft is painted light gray with red accents visible inside the open landing gear doors and on the tail. Two long, thin booms extend backward from the engine nacelles, connecting at the rear by a single horizontal tailplane to form a rectangular shape.

I like many folks have my preferred narrators and others that are simply not my cup of tea. That said, I never really leave negative reviews on a narration BC I can’t imagine putting myself out there like that for some rando to come along and shit all over my work. It would drive me up the wall.

“To the ICE agent who took away my mother: I hope it was worth it,” wrote Samuel Gonzalez Terrones before taking his own life. This is the reality of what mass deportation looks like. Not only impacting those who are detained but also leaving a path of destruction for the family they leave behind.

His mom was detained by ICE. Two months later, he died by suicide

Samuel Gonzalez Terrones, 21, struggled with depression and schizophrenia. His mom's arrest by ICE became too much to bear.
