Working on this Push layout before moving to class 12. Flex definitely helps getting everything in place without having to think a lot about percentages. Floats was fun but this is the real thing. Starting using classes for repeated styles and it saves a ton of time and code too

Watching class 10. Super review. Got a job. Got a routine, switched it up and I finally think I can make it happen.

Moving across state was a toll. Trying to find a job has been a toll. However, I was able to resume class again. Started from zero and we are not stopping anymore, hopefully. Let's be ready for huntober. #100Devs

Remember that is okay if you are taking a break because of the holidays. Refresh your mind, spend time with family and friends and come back stronger after the holiday season is over

Just got a computer. I am only opening my socials that are intended for networking. Personal accts stay in my phone. Let's see if this works

Going back to your routine when it gets interrupted by some big event is so hard. Moving to another state took away my routine and it has been hard to go back

Currently pushing all my completed codewars to GitHub to get more familiar with the version control system. Snippet Below

Recently worked on: QR shearable app - Simple interface with the ability to scan the QR code to take you to FrontEndMentor. Push it to my repository and hosted it for review. Original Challenge by FrontEndMentor. It wasn't difficult at all.

Facts and it is becoming annoying. Like why do I need AI on instagram? I just want to watch some reels and my friends feed

110

Cri @crisgomezd.bsky.social · 05/04/2025

I am not sure if this is a hot take or unpopular opinion but not everything should have AI. Most of it is just marketing to sell more but doesn’t have the functionality or reason to include it

Cardio session after the workout. Almost picking up wifie and having an early night study session with APIs

AI is really scary. I was calling a department within the company I work for and I got connected to an IVR that literally answered like a human. This is the first time I couldn’t tell the difference

However, if you do it in the morning at least 30 mins. If you don’t find any more time throughout the day, at least you put in 30-60 mins earlier and it will make you feel great because you put in the time

020

Cri @crisgomezd.bsky.social · 27/02/2025

If you are struggling to find time within the day to study, wake up an hour earlier! I adopted this strategy from @dthompsondev.bsky.social and my study has been more consistent. Sometimes life gets in the way and you won’t find the time within the day.

Cri @crisgomezd.bsky.social · 25/02/2025

I want to put more time into it because it is definitely worth it. And another good thing is that you can share pretty much everything you do there. I just started a week and some change ago. I will keep experimenting with it.

And if you dont want to worry about making your own pages they have a template library

000

Cri @crisgomezd.bsky.social · 24/02/2025

Just started using it but as of right now I use it as a journal, tracker and agenda. I have pages for each month and week to make it easier to go back and check my progress. I handle my todos from there as well. In YT you can fins great videos about all the tools.

Cri @crisgomezd.bsky.social · 20/02/2025

If you are not using notion yet, let me tell you that you are missing out!! What a great tool omg

Seems you and I went into a coding break. All good! What matters is that you ate back

110

Cri @crisgomezd.bsky.social · 18/02/2025

Remember, if you need a break, take it. However, make sure you mark the day you are coming back.

020

Cri @crisgomezd.bsky.social · 18/02/2025

So I was away for almost a month and I am not proud of it. But you know what? Cristian from 2-3 years ago would’ve quit completely. Cristian from the present came back, organized his ideas, schedule and is back on track, and that is something to be proud of.

This is so dope! Question for you: how do you approach codewars? Like when do you tell you’re good enough to level up?

120

Cri @crisgomezd.bsky.social · 18/01/2025

I just ranked up in codewars :’)

010

Cri @crisgomezd.bsky.social · 18/01/2025

Don’t worry. In relation to workload, how to deal with the stress of having lots of work to get done where you feel time is not enough

Maybe we can have a coffee chat just to get the nerves out and get more used to it. What do you think?🫱🏾‍🫲🏽
