Hi! I was the Selma in the Patty and Selma Simpson cosplay at #PCKC (@planetcomicon.bsky.social) this year!!!! Photos to come, they're on my sister's phone. Yes, we were sisters doing sisters! Here's some pics from previous years!

2021 - Planned for 2020, but yeah. I am Harley Quinn from Birds of Prey in the gold diamond overalls with the pink crop top in white boots. I have the iconic Harley necklace.

2025 - Beetlejuice from the animated series. My sister was Lydia. I am in a hand painted black and white striped suit with a purple undershirt. I have a grey-green wig on and am posing as close to a Beetlejuice pose as I could think of at the time.

2022 - Me as Madeline Ashton (Meryl Streep) from Death Becomes Her. I am wearing a white satin wrap top with wide collars, a neck bracing silver necklace, donning a blonde wig, and wielding a large paper-mache shotgun.

Me and my sister do cosplay. We like to do duos. We've done Beetlejuice and Lydia, Madeline and Helen from Death Becomes Her (my pfp), Wonder Woman & Etta Candy, Mighty Thor & Lady Loki, among others. But this year we may be doing characters that are sisters for the first time. Stay tuned.

My sister is an amazing gift giver. She's gifted me hand embroidered 1701 pillows & custom hand made cosplay items. She didn't disappoint this year either. She got me a Soviet space race era propaganda night light! It is so cool.

A tall plastic light. Clear at the very bottom, with a black band around the top of the base with various Soviet imagery. At the top is a small chrome rocket, connected to the black band at the base by a clear plastic representation of the rocket taking off.

Same as first picture, but image taken in darker light to show the green light shining through the bottom of the base and red light in the clear area supposed to represent the lift off.

I did it. I ordered the LEGO Enterprise D. I had a family member offer to give me cash towards part of it as my holiday gift from them. I'm also going to cut back on my art budget a bit at my local comic con next year to help with the sticker shock. Damn. But I want it so much!!!
